Bryce Prince will have to put his championship winning talent at the service of a new team for 2018.

After receiving an unforeseen phone call from Hudson Motorcycles owner Mark Shinder on Sunday March 4th 2018, I was informed that the team had decided to change plans with their 600 program for 2018, and we had to part ways.

Hudson Motorcycles and I had formed a solid bond during the 2017 season. We went into the off season with tremendous optimism for 2018 with the addition of Bobby Fong in the superbike class, and myself ready to take on the 600 Supersport championship with plenty of experience and a 600 championship under my belt.

With such dedicated team owner-operators, quality mechanics, Rocky Stargel as crew chief, and very little time testing on my 2018 Yamaha R6, I had a great level of confidence that was materialized by several wins last weekend at the last CVMA round.

Although being caught off guard, I would like to thank Hudson Motorcycles and all the sponsors I had helped join the team, and would like to wish them the best of luck for this exciting upcoming 2018 season.

With just over 3 weeks before the official Barber test, I will put all my resources together to find a way to be a part of this 2018 MotoAmerica season. My passion is greater than ever, I am ready and eager to make this happen, regardless of the challenges that lie ahead and that often make our beloved sport that much more rewarding and exciting.
