Brad Baker, Pro AMA Flat Track - Dodge Brothers Racing This past weekend Baker won the AMA Grand National at the Pamona Half-Mile en route to becoming the 2013 AMA Grand National Champion. It was an epic race between Baker and his championship rival Bryan Smith. Baker is a former Pro Singles Champions and Flat Track Rookie of the Year. He's now the third youngest rider to win the AMA Grand National Championship.
Evelyne Clarke, CEO Owner - WERA Motorcycle Racing Inc Evelyne began working with WERA Motorcycle Roadracing in 1976, she bought 1/3 ownership in 1984 and full ownership in 2000. WERA is one of the oldest and largest national sanctioning bodies conducting motorcycle races at road courses across the United States. 2012 marked the 39th Anniversary for WERA Motorcycle Roadracing. Currently, there are over 2,500 road racers holding a competition license. WERA's legacy is that riders come through our series and move on to Pro Racing here in the States and in WSBK and/or MotoGP.
Richard Stanboli, Owner - Attack Performance
Richard owns the racing performance company Attack Performance and the Attack Racing team. Attack Performance sells and manufactures clip ons, triple clamps, rear sets, race bodies, as well as offers performance tuning for motorcycles. The team has raced in AMA Pro Racing for many years but over the past two years Stanboli has been focused on a CRT program in the MotoGP rounds in the U.S. with Blake Young riding for the team. Attack Performance has an open house scheduled for this coming Saturday, October 19.
Eli Tomac, Pro Motocross - GEICO Honda This year Tomac won the 2013 250 Lucas Oil Motocross Champions after being very vocal early on that he wanted to move up to the 450 class. Just after the half-way point of the season Eli was in second place before he went on an eight race win streak to claim the championship with a whole round remaining. He recently represented red white and blue on Team USA where they took second place. Eli's speed was incredible at the MXoN as his lap times in his two motos were faster than anyone else's including the 450's. Now he sets his sights on the 450 class full-time where he is scheduled to race the Monster Cup this weekend and contest the premier Supercross class going forward for GEICO Honda. To his credit since turning pro; Eli finished runner-up in the AMA Supercross Lites West series as a rookie in 2011. In 2010 at Hangtown, Tomac became the first rider to win the first professional race he entered. He won the 2012 AMA West Regional Supercross title and the 2013 AMA 250 National Motocross Championship.
Charlie Mullins, Pro Offroad- Factory FMF/KTM Headed into the penultimate round of the 2013 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country Series Charlie was trailing his teammate Kailub Russell by seven points in the XC1 class. Mullins took the win at Powerline Park in Ohio now sitting only five points behind Russell. The final race is in two weeks at Crawfordsville, IN. This has been an exciting season for Mullins as he also won the Big Sky XC in Montana, he was crowned the 2013 AMA National Enduro Champion, and he represented the United States at the 2013 International Six Days Enduro in Sardinia, Italy where they finished 2nd place, (USA's best finish since 1982).
Heather Majcherek, CEO/President/Founder - WMN Racing
The focus at WMN Racing is to get women of all ages and skill out on the track. Heather is a third generation racer - her grandparents raced cars, then got the family into dirt bikes; her mom raced motocross; and her other grandparents and dad raced desert. Heather started riding at 2, she got her first trophy at 4, and was hooked. In the early days she raced in the Mickey Thompson Stadium races on her peewee, being the only girl and in front of 70,000 people. She won championships through the years and holds a few world records. Heather was nominated to be inducted into the Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 2008.
