Miami, FL “” During the opening round of the 2012 season at Homestead Miami Speedway, CCS/ASRA began utilizing Bitgeist’s race series management software.

Bitgeist Software is an enterprise software development firm based out of Miami Florida who’s new product, RaceWurxRR, allows for the running of a complex racing series. The solution manages race licenses, event registration, class entries, championship points across multiple classes/regions, generation of multi-class grids and a plethora of other capabilities. The solution is a centralized multiuser application that allows for deployments across a network of windows, Macintosh and iOS devices working in tandem. Bitgeist’s CEO and lead developer Marc Allen has been working in close collaboration with CCS/ASRA officials over the past three years to refine this platform. The reactions from the riders to the new solution’s grids and result sheets was overwhelmingly positive. The ability to specify a rider’s country affiliation that not only places their flag next to their results but will tabulate their points toward a “Nationality Championship” was particularly well received by the racers in Miami. Further capabilities accessible to competitors will be added as the season progresses. Kevin Elliot, Owner of CCS/ASRA added: “To say that the introduction this weekend was great would be an understatement. I was involved with RMSZ’s implementation in 1989 and the conversion to RaceWurxRR was far easier than I could have imagined. This application allows us to run our extensive series in a cohesive and efficient manner with fewer resources and headaches. We look forward to working with Bitgeist to advance this leading edge tool’s capabilities even further.”

Some of the forthcoming features that RaceWurxRR will allow are online registration, Live Timing and archival lap times, a Constructers Championship, Grid position tank decals and several more.
