The Utah Sport Bike Association’s racing season will come to a close with a bang on October 1, 2017 as the premier class sponsors, Moto Station and Rickdiculous Racing have each posted purses for the final round of the year!

“The support of our sponsors in 2017 has been nothing short of amazing,” said club president Scott Rybarik. “Both of these organizations have shown tremendous enthusiasm for local racing this year and they’ve amplified that for the final round!”

Kory Cowan of Moto Station said, “It’s been a great season so far and we decided to up the ante a little and create a purse for the final round of KOM GTO. We’re going to put up $1000 cash for the podium finishers of the last round. $200 for third, $300 for second, and $500 for the winner. Come on out to UMC October 1st and see if you have what it takes to be the King of the Mountain and take home some cash!”

Josh Bronfman of Rickdiculous Racing had a similar message: “We are big fans of the USBA and of racing in general. We were in a position to make the last round have some added incentive and hopefully make it a bunch more fun! We hope that there is a full grid for the KOM- GTU race on the 1st.”

Club members have already taken to the idea, some of them offering to supplement the purse amounts! The last round of the year ought to be exciting for spectators and racers alike as we take to the Utah Motorsports Campus East course for the last time in 2017!

Moto Station Sponsors the King of the Mountain GTO class and has posted a $1000 purse to be divided amongst the top three finishers.

Rickdiculous Racing sponsors the King of the Mountain GTU class and has posted $1000 purse that has since been supplemented by club member Michal Bradshaw, who is adding $100 per entry to the total. Division of the purse will be determined once all entries are received.

The Utah Sport Bike Association is a Utah Non-Profit dedicated to promoting education, safe riding and competition in the Intermountain West. You can find more information about the USBA, upcoming events, and schools at www.utahsba.com or find us on Facebook at www.utahsba.com
