Team Rotobox/Nexx places Travis Ohge aboard injured rider Rocco Horvath’s Yamaha YZF-R6 complete with Rocco’s #14 plate. We are proud to announce Travis Ohge will be joining us to race the next AMA Pro Road Racing round at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in conjunction with the MotoGP event July 27th-29th. Travis will be aboard Rocco Horvath’s Graves Motorsports prepped Yamaha YZF-R6 and will also be running Rocco’s #14 plate in tribute of our friend that is unable to race due to a paralyzing injury he sustained last month on track. Travis and Rocco competed against each other last year in the AMA Pro Supersport West series where they met and became good friends. Ohge finished out last year’s season 4th in points and placed in the top ten last year at Laguna. Rocco is currently in his hometown where he continues his rehabilitation and occupational therapy to learn how to work with his new limitations at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. A fund has been established to help raise donations for rehabilitation not covered by insurance here: http:://MaverickMotoMedia.ChipIn.com/Rocco-Horvath. All donations are greatly appreciated! Travis Ohge: “I can’t express how thankful I am for being given the opportunity to not only have a bike to ride at Laguna, but also to be able to pay tribute to my friend and competitor, Rocco Horvath. It hit a lot of us hard hearing the news of Rocco’s injuries, and I am honored to do something to bring him happiness. Laguna Seca has been one of my favorite tracks and I’m amped about this opportunity.” Rocco Horvath: “Travis is a good friend of mine I’m glad to have met while racing in the AMA last year. It’s going to be great seeing my bike and number out on the grid despite my injuries. It’s been a very difficult time for my family and I, but it feels good to do something to help a friend who needs a bike to ride for this event as well. I’m focused on my recovery now and wish Travis the best of luck.” Luke Lucky Huff (team owner): “I’m really happy we are able to put this together quickly to give Rocco a nice tribute having his bike with his number running at Laguna. I am continually impressed with Rocco’s positive attitude and his exceptional drive to stay motivated and do the best he can with every opportunity in life. A true inspiration (seriously Rocco). Travis has been a top competitor in the AMA Pro Supersport class and we’re confident he will do Rocco proud with a strong finish at Laguna Seca.” Travis would like to thank his sponsors: Puma Boots, Wankers Corner, and Panic Switch Army. The team would like to thank their sponsors: Rotobox Wheels, Nexx Helmets, Yamaha, Graves Motorsports, NCompass International, Motoyard.com, Dunlop Tires, Tuned Industries, Dynojet, Catalyst Racing Composites, SBK Paint, Icon Screening, EFSigns.com, GOLDfren Brakes, Pit Bull, Cycle Pirates, HT Moto, Zero Gravity, Racing Batteries, R.
