Malaysian rider Ramdan Rosli joins Kyle Wyman Racing XR1200 lineup for Indianapolis GP

MACEDON, N.Y. (Aug. 5) — Kyle Wyman Racing is pleased to announce the return of a Malaysian rider to their Harley-Davidson series lineup. 18-year-old Ramdan Rosli will make his AMA Pro Racing debut at the Indianapolis GP this weekend riding the #39 PETRONAS/KWR Harley-Davidson XR1200.

Rosli currently competes in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Championship under the PETRONAS Talent Devlopment Program, a multi-faceted motorsports enterprise designed to uncover and develop young talent in both two and four-wheeled international competition.

“I’m very excited to have another young rider from the PETRONAS program join our team this year for the Harley-Davidson races at Indianapolis,” said Kyle Wyman, owner of KWR. “Last year we had Hafizh Syahrin, who won race two on a KWR XR1200. Ramdan is another wildly talented young man and I am honored to be providing him with a top-notch motorcycle.”

Syahrin utilized the Harley-Davidson series race at Indianapolis last year to learn the circuit, and will be competing in the Moto2 series this weekend as part of his full-time world championship effort.

“I am looking forward for the weekend,” Rosli stated. “Riding a Harley-Davidson will be a totally new experience for me. The most important thing for me is to learn the circuit and get the most out of this arrangement. I hope to learn as much as possible from Kyle as well and accelerate my learning curve.”

“We are excited over the deal that we did with KWR for the coming weekend,” said Kenny Chua, PETRONAS AHM Malaysia. “We are looking at whatever possibility that we can to ride at GP circuits. This is one of the opportunities for us to ride at a GP circuit and it is extra special with a Harley-Davidson at the famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Ramdan will have the opportunity to learn directly with Kyle on the circuit as he himself will be riding. We can’t wait to be there!”
