2015 Superstock 1000 runner-up Taylor Knapp and KTM RC 390 Cup regular Gabe Miller to race for MotoEverything DieselOps Racing in 2016

(Rochester, Michigan) Taylor Knapp and Gabe Miller to contest the 2016 MotoAmerica Championship. Knapp will compete in the Superstock 1000 class aboard the MotoEverything DieselOps Yamaha YZF-R1, and Gabe Miller will be moving up to the Superstock 600 class aboard a Yamaha YZF-R6, for his second full professional road racing season.

Knapp, 28, showed that he is one of the top liter-class motorcycle road racers in the U.S. last year when he finished the 2015 MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 season in second place in the Championship points standings and was the only rider in his class to consistently finish on the podium at every MotoAmerica race event in 2015, with 13 podium appearances.

“I’m really excited for 2016,” said Knapp. “The R1 was a good bike for me last year, and I’m eager to take what we learned and build on it to try and win the Championship this season! I have a lot of trust and respect for everyone involved in forming this new team, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Miller, 23, is one of the rising stars of the sport. In only a few years of racing a motorcycle, Miller has already won multiple championships at the WERA level. In 2015, he competed in the KTM RC 390 Cup with consistent top-10 finishes and a best-qualifying effort of 3rd place in his first professional year of road racing.

Gabe says “I’m excited with the challenge of moving up to the 600 superstock class in 2016. Its a stacked class for sure but I’ve got a proven Motorcycle and I just can’t wait to get it going in Atlanta!”
