Kawasaki Motors Corp., U.S.A. celebrated its 50th year in America today by hosting an open house at its brand new, 200,000-square-foot headquarters in Foothill Ranch, California, just south of Los Angeles.

Although the new facility is only four miles from Kawasaki’s previous home and is slightly smaller, according to employees, the new location is more prominently located on a hillside overlooking Orange County, has a much more attractive exterior that better showcases the brand, and its interior has been designed to give employees and dealers more of what they need to be successful.

“With technology always improving the company wanted to put us in a building that was up to modern technology standards,” Senior PR Coordinator Jeff Herzog told Roadracingworld.com. “All of the workstations are more evolved and the whole workspace works out better for all departments. Basically, we wanted to upgrade our home, and the other one was 30 years old.”

The new facility continues to be the home to Kawasaki’s in-house factory Supercross and motocross teams. Unlike the company’s previous building, the new facility does not include a road racing shop.

Kawasaki offered tours of the operating-room-clean motocross race shop, but no photos were allowed. Kawasaki did allow photos of other areas, and here are some of those shots.
