First Annual Blackhawk Farms Raceway First Annual Broken Wing Benefit hosted by JOS Motorsports/Motovid.com Labor Day weekend Raises Over $6,500.00 for the Roadracing World Action Fund (SOUTH BELOIT Sep 7) Motorcyclists from as far as Minnesota came out in support of The first annual Blackhawk Farms Raceway Broken Wing Benefit hosted by JOS Motorsports/Motovid.com on Sat. Sep. 1. Overall the Blackhawk Farms Raceway Broken Wing Benefit delivered $6,500.00 for the Roadracing World Action Fund with proceeds generated from the individual donations, contest and auction items. “Blackhawk Farms Raceway wishes to thank everyone who helped make The Broken Wing Benefit a success with special thanks to JOS Motorsports and John Udell for hosting our party,” said Kathleen Casey BFR Event Coordinator. “We are very grateful for the support, generous donations from many, alongside the dedication from the BFR/Motovid.com staff who volunteered to the cause,” Casey added. Professional stunt riders, Ryan Suchanek and Joe Beavers of Vertical Mischief, kicked off the benefit with an awesome stunt show on the front straight showing off their incredible two wheel skills, control and extreme talents to entertain the crowd before the auctions and contests activities began. Hungry trackday enthusiast and talented Wing eater, Bjorn Iverson, Minn. demonstrated his monster skills to the competition, destroying the special contest “hot” wings prepared by Cafe Fastee in under 10 min. to take home the 2012 BFR Wing Monster crown. While local rider, and skilled Grill Master Steve Harris had a closer battle for the BFR Wing Master title edging all others by 2 votes with his secret recipe, soon to be available thru Cafe Fastee for special events. Each winner received a full season of All Levels Motorcycle Track Days and JOS Motorsports events in 2013. “JOS was honored to host the benefit this year. It’s all for a good cause and a good time was had by all. We look forward to doing it again next year, even bigger,” said John Udell, JOS Motorsports. “Thanks to Motovid.com and everyone at Blackhawk Farms who helped make the JOS Motorsports Track Day Weekend Series a success this year.
