COSTA MESA, CA – MotoAmerica has announced the return of Bazzaz as a supporting partner of the 2016 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship with the dynamometer and engine management system company stepping up to become the title sponsor of the Bazzaz Superstock 1000 class.

The Bazzaz Superstock 1000 class, which runs within the premier Superbike class, opens the season at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, April 8-10 with round two scheduled just a week later at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, April 15-17.

“The Superstock 1000 class continues to grow and the battles in that class should be even better than what we had last year,” said MotoAmerica President and three-time 500cc World Champion Wayne Rainey. “We want to thank Bazzaz for coming back on board as a supporting partner and the title sponsor of Superstock 1000. We’re looking forward to a great year of racing and we’re glad that Bazzaz is back to help us achieve our goals in year two.”

Headquarteredw in Chino Hills, California, Bazzaz was started in 2003 after owner Ammar Bazzaz, at the time a race engineer instrumental in Yoshimura Suzuki’s Mat Mladin’s first three AMA Superbike titles, decided the time was right to bring high-level technology to all levels of motorcycle racers and motorcycle enthusiasts. The result: Bazzaz has now been instrumental in the implementation, tuning and application of electronic fuel injection for over 10 years.

“Renewing our support for the MotoAmerica series was an easy decision,” said Josef Buxton, Vice President of Bazzaz. “Last year we witnessed first hand the dedication of MotoAmerica to our sport and now we are seeing the fruits of their labor in a series that has expanded its schedule and is now being broadcast on television and the internet – from the best tracks in America to watch a race. Superbike racing in America is something near and dear to the heart of Bazzaz and our customers, so it’s with great honor we announce the continuation of our support for motorcycle road racing and the teams and riders of MotoAmerica. Now get your tickets because the Bazzaz Superstock 1000 class is filled with top-level racers and is destined to be an exciting class to follow this year.”
