Rispoli set for Superstock title attack and MCE BSB with two year Quattro Plant FS-3 Racing Kawasaki deal

American James Rispoli will line up for FS-3 Racing in the Pirelli National Superstock 1000 Championship in Quattro Plant colours, alongside wildcard appearances in MCE BSB before the end of the season.

Rispoli joins the team after experiencing the Dickies British Supersport Championship before making his debut in the MCE BSB class this season. The 25-year-old from Florida has signed a two-year deal that will see him return full-time to the Superbike class in 2018 with the FS-3 Racing squad.

Rispoli said: “I think 2017 is going to be a huge year for us; we have a two-year deal to be in Superstock next season with a mix of Superbike at the end of the year with Kawasaki. I’m really excited as working with Nigel and the team is everything I could wish for. I see next year as a diagonal step, it is the best option for me and puts me in a great position for 2018.

“We are all very excited to get the new season underway; FS-3 is a great, professional team who want to make the next step forward and support each other all the way. I think I can grow with this team and manufacturer – it is huge for me. Our goal is to win the Superstock title and bring it home for Kawasaki.”

Team owner Nigel Snook commented: “We learnt a lot during our first year in the MCE BSB Championship and plan to put that experience to good use next season. I’m delighted that the team has attracted backing from Quattro Plant, who are great supporters of the series.

“James knows that next year’s Superstock Championship is going to be really competitive, particularly with increased manufacturer interest, but we are confident he will be running at the front. Towards the end of the season we hope to be able to enter James as a wildcard on a second Superbike too.

“As a team, we can’t wait to get our testing programme started now ready for our second season.”
