Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing’s Bobby Fong took first place in the MotoAmerica Superbike race at VIRginia International Raceway on Saturday, followed by Tytlers Cycle Racing’s Cameron Beaubier and Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati’s Josh Herrin in second and third. Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Sean Dylan Kelly finished fourth, with Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing’s Jake Gagne rounding out the top five.

Strack Racing’s Mathew Scholtz ran away from the field to win Saturday’s MotoAmerica Motovation Supersport race at VIRginia International Raceway. Scholtz led by nearly six seconds at one point before easing off to a 4.950 margin of victory over Rahal Ducati Moto w/XPEL’s PJ Jacobsen, with Celtic/Economy Lube + Tire/Warhorse HSBK Ducati’s Cameron Petersen third, Strack’s Blake Davis fourth and BPR Racing’s Josh Hayes in fifth.

Bobby Fong, riding for Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing, took pole in the final MotoAmerica Superbike qualifying session at VIRginia International Raceway on Saturday with a best lap time of 1:24.227, just ahead of Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Sean Dylan Kelly. Cameron Beaubier of Tytlers Cycle Racing finished third on his BMW, followed by Richie Escalante on another Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki and Hayden Gillim on the Real Steel Honda in fourth and fifth. In the combined results, Fong led, followed closely by Kelly, Beaubier, Josh Herrin on the Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati and Jake Gagne for Attack.

The two were the only riders to venture out in a rain-hit session. On combined times, Tytlers Cycle Racing’s Hank Vossberg remained on pole, ahead of Warhorse Ducati/American Racing’s Alessandro Di Mario, Royalty Racing’s Carson King, Team Roberts’ Kody Kopp and Bodie Paige Racing’s Bodie Paige.
