Puccetti Racing: American Gerloff “Very, Very Fast …”

American Garrett Gerloff exceeded his team’s expectations in their initial test together, and Gerloff will be a regular World Superbike top-five finisher and can race for podium positions in 2025, the owner of his new team says.

In an interview at EICMA with WorldSBK.com, Manuel Puccetti said Gerloff, who will join Puccetti Racing on the official Kawasaki ZX-10RR in 2025, impressed from the very first laps in the post-season test at Jerez.

“In Jerez, we tested Garrett Gerloff, the new rider for next year. He was directly very fast,” Puccetti said. “He was quite competitive, leading almost all day. Gerloff was very, very fast. Much more competitive than we expected. I don’t want to fly too high, but for sure the pace was quite good. I think … with his talent and speed, his age, everything, I think the rider can be often top five and we dream also to be on the podium.”

With the Kawasaki factory efforts moving to the BbKRT team and the Kawasaki-powered KB998 for 2025, Puccetti says his team will not simply inherit the former factory ZX-10RRs in 2024 specification, but already is testing upgrades.

“The base will be the bike from this year for sure, but already on the second day we tested new parts for the engine, some updates for the suspension, other things,” Puccetti said.

The team also will be running the new 2025 Kawasaki ZX-6R in the Supersport World Championship with Jeremy Alcoba. Puccetti says that he expects the new 636cc machine, which Kawasaki will homologate for 2025, will be “very competitive from the beginning” of the year.

NJMP Adding New Thunderbolt Course Configuration

NJMP is Creating the Perfect Turn

New Jersey Motorsports Park To Expand Thunderbolt Circuit

Experience a Brand New Course Configuration in 2025

Following the successful completion of a multi-million-dollar repave and renovation project for the 2024 motorsports season, New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) announced that it is continuing its infrastructure investment with the addition of a new course configuration ahead of the 2025 season.

The new section is named “The Devil’s Pass”, and it offers a layout that will be a fast, flowing variation of the Thunderbolt Classic circuit.

The Devil’s Pass VS. Thunderbolt Classic

The Devil’s Pass retains the traditional Thunderbolt circuit through Turn 7, which exits onto a flat-out sweeping bend to the right.

Whereas the Thunderbolt Classic circuit then slows and turns hard right for the tight technical Turn 9 and 10 section of the course called The Devil, The Devil’s Pass variation will continue to accelerate onto an additional straightaway followed by a 90 degree left, which will rejoin the original circuit halfway through the existing Esses.

“This offers the challenging flow of setting up through the sweeping right and subsequent straightaway for a new braking zone and passing opportunity – and a critical turn to execute perfectly for maximum speed down the front straight,” explained Brad Scott, President and Chief Operating Officer of NJMP.

Professional racer Alex Sedgwick agreed. “This will be an interesting new addition, opening up a new passing opportunity for race events and increasing the average speed of the lap, demanding something different from car and driver when compared to what is usually a relatively slow speed, low commitment area of the track.” Sedgwick finished 2nd in the 2024 Porsche Carrera Cup North America championship in the top Pro division driving for PT Autosport with JDX Racing and hosts coaching sessions for NJMP’s Drivers Club members.

Devil’s Pass will integrate with the classic circuit as shown below.

The Devils Pass is a Game-Changer for NJMP Drivers and Riders

“There are a number of important details involved in getting this right,” Scott continued as he reviewed the design diagram. “There are 358 linear feet of new racing surface, with a slight negative camber in the new turn, and 100 linear feet of what is known as Melbourne curbing. The runoff area is comprised of a grass strip, followed by paved runoff, and finally an FIA grade 12” gravel pit. The guard rails behind the tire bundles will be raised to 4-levels instead of the typical 3-level for additional safety, and movable tire bundles enable the change between circuit configurations. The project also includes the required underground basins to capture water runoff.”

Diagram showing revisions being made to the Thunderbolt Course at New Jersey Motorsports Park.

NJMP Managing Director and experienced racer RJ Valentine added: “As racers ourselves, one of the issues Lee (Brahin, fellow Managing Director) and I strongly believe in at any track is flow, and with the creation of this configuration we are certain that we’ll be achieving an interesting new flow and new passing zones. Our goal is to attract additional top-level professional series to NJMP.”

Beginning with the 2025 motorsport season, both the Thunderbolt Classic and Devil’s Pass circuits will be available for NJMP’s drivers, riders, clubs, partners, and professional series. And both retain the option of the Turn 3 chicane, resulting in four unique and enticing layouts for NJMP members and customers.

“This is Phase 2 of our multi-year investment in Thunderbolt,” said Scott. “The Phase 1 repave and renovation received great reviews during the 2024 season, including dozens of new track records set across various racing classes. The Phase 2 construction of a new course configuration is something we are really excited about.”

Created with the help of a team of NJMP members and partners, the Devil’s Pass final design is being led by Bryce Engelhart, Lead Designer at Technical Track Design (TTD), who provides his expertise in track design and safety to the project.

The Future of New Jersey Motorsports Park

Lee Brahin, NJMP Managing Director, emphasized the ongoing commitment to the motorsports complex. “We continue to invest and expand Thunderbolt. And our next focus will be on Lightning, which is near and dear to my heart as it was the first circuit to be run when we opened for the 2008 season. Lightning is very fast and unique in many ways, and I simply love driving it.”

Over its 15-year history, NJMP’s Thunderbolt has hosted major professional automobile and motorcycle racing series, has been enjoyed by grassroots racing clubs with their national and regional events, has played a role in driver and rider education through the many schools and development days held there, and has left countless drivers and riders challenged and smiling after their track days. Thunderbolt is home to the NJMP Drivers Club and NJMP Riders Club. And it has been used by major manufacturers as well as film crews for their projects.

NJMP encourages those who are interested in experiencing the new configuration to learn more about track rentals, NJMP Track Days, and exclusive memberships at NJMP.com.

MotoGP: Trackhouse Racing’s Oliveira Returning At Barcelona

Trackhouse Racing reaches the final round of its inaugural season in the MotoGP World Championship – in Barcelona, for the second time in the year. America’s only representative team in the premier class of Grand Prix motorcycle racing returns to Catalunya, along with the rest of the Championship teams, in the wake of the apocalyptic flooding that hit Valencia, the venue originally slated to host the last race of the season, just over one week ago.

Titled the Solidarity Grand Prix as a gesture of sympathy and support for the people of Valencia, where over 200 citizens died in the flood waters that engulfed the region and where there are still many missing, the final round of the season will pay its respects at the Barcelona track to those lost, unaccounted for, or displaced from their homes. Located just over 200 miles to the north-east of Valencia, the circuit escaped the worst of the Dana weather phenomenon – when warm, moist air meets cold air, creating an unstable weather system – which caused the devastation and given its proximity, holding the final race of the year in the region, allows for the fund-raising events and show of support from the MotoGP Paddock planned through the weekend for all those so badly affected.

The 2024 MotoGP World Championship has still to award the #1 plate for ‘25 to the man who makes it to Victory Lane at the Catalunya Circuit and while all eyes will be on that story, the Trackhouse Team will also have reason for celebrations and reflection. First off, the final race will mark the return of the #88 – our Portuguese star, Miguel Oliveira, who joined the Trackhouse MotoGP project at the outset, scored the Team’s first podium in Germany, but has been forced to sit on the side-lines since his wrist fracture, sustained at Mandalika Circuit, Indonesia, back in late September.

The team are grateful to Aprilia factory test rider, Lorenzo Savadori, who stepped up to pilot Miguel’s bike in his absence and now very happily looking forward to welcoming the #88 back and seeing him on his Trackhouse Aprilia RS-GP bike, one final time before he moves to pastures new for 2025.

The man who has signed to replace Miguel, is another reason for excitement during the coming days in Barcelona – Ai Ogura, the young Japanese sensation who wrapped up the intermediate, Moto2, class World Championship just a couple three weeks back, in Thailand, will make his debut on a Trackhouse RS-GP24, on the Tuesday following the final Grand Prix of the current year. Tuesday, November 19, will be an auspicious day for the man out of Kiyose, Japan – the first time he will roll-out onto pit-road as a MotoGP rider, with his #79 adorning the nose of the premier class Aprilia prototype. Trackhouse is looking forward to welcoming Ai into The House and supporting him for the next step in his career – his opening season in 2025 at the pinnacle of motorcycle racing.

For #25, Raul Fernandez, a return to the Catalunya Circuit will bring positive memories of his weekend here, earlier in the season. A front row qualifying performance, leading the Sprint race and a 6th place in the Catalunya Grand Prix made the weekend a breakout for Raul. At the conclusion of this visit to the track, with all other current riders finding a future elsewhere, Raul will return for the pre-2025 season test as the most senior race rider on Aprilia technology and will be looking to continue the development work he has been undertaking in recent races to give the Noale factory a strong lead ahead of next year.

While Ai will be making his Trackhouse debut in Barcelona, the Trackhouse Racing Team will be marking the final race of its debut in MotoGP. Having first shown its colors to the world, at a global premier in Milan, back in December 2023, America’s only MotoGP class team launched its season at a star-studded rooftop party in Hollywood – entertainment capital of the world – in January and then got on track for the first time at the opening test of 2024, at Sepang, in Malaysia. Its opening race, under the lights, at Round 1 in Qatar heralded its very first start. Since then, results through the season have not matched the ambitions of the Trackhouse organization, but #25 Raul Fernandez leading in the Catalunya Sprint race and coming home 6th in the Sunday Grand Prix, together with #88 Miguel Oliveira scoring the team’s first podium in the Sachsenring Sprint, are performances that have hinted at the potential in future.

Last time, at the Grand Prix of Catalunya back in late May, the Trackhouse riders both showed speed. Raul qualified 3rd on the grid for the races and although the Sprint resulted in a double DNF – Raul led in the opening laps before going down and Miguel ran in 7th before he also crashed out – the Grand Prix on the Sunday gave the team a double top ten with the #25 crossing the finishing stripe in 6th and the #88 close behind in 10th.

Another double top ten, this time in the Solidarity Grand Prix Sprint on Saturday, or Sunday’s final main race of the 2024 season, would be a pleasing result for the rookie outfit and all at Trackhouse headquarters back in Charlotte, North Carolina.

MIGUEL OLIVEIRA

“I’m really excited to come back to racing MotoGP. My expectations are not very high because I don’t know how limited my wrist is until I get back on the bike and it’s a Grand Prix with mixed feelings for sure, but my aim is to leave the Trackhouse team on a high. We, obviously, will be racing to gather some hope and also funds for those affected by the catastrophic events in Valencia so overall – I’m looking forward to it!”

Championship standing: 15th – 71 points

RAUL FERNANDEZ

“First of all, we will race for all the people affected in Valencia. What happened there is still a shock, so we will compete for them. Barcelona is a good track for us and although we will keep working for next year mainly, I would like to finish the last round of the season well. The result we had here, in Barcelona, last time makes me really optimistic. I would still like to stay calm, take it session by session and try to do my best.”

Championship standing: 16th – 66 points

WILCO ZEELENBERG – TEAM MANAGER

“Of course, let’s hope Barcelona is going to be a very special event, first of all, for the reason we go there, which is not the best. Let’s try to do everything for the people in Valencia to help them in whatever way we can. As the MotoGP organization says, we don’t race in Valencia, but we race for Valencia – I think this is very nicely said and makes this second round in Barcelona very special. For our team, it will also be a special one because Miguel is coming back from injury and Raul led the Sprint race, at this home event here, early in summer. Our bike worked quite well there before so we will see if we can achieve the race results of the past. I’m looking forward to going there, the last MotoGP race of this season and maybe also, the final one of my career. Other than that, I think the team will be ready for this last event of the season.”

DAVIDE BRIVIO – TEAM PRINCIPAL

“We are going to Barcelona for the last race with mixed feelings after what happened in Valencia and continuing to keep an eye on the situation there. It was supposed to be our big, end of year party and the good thing is that we hope that with funds that can be raised from this race, in Barcelona, we can now be helpful to the people of Valencia and in general for all the Spanish population. From a sporting point-of-view, it is very interesting for us to go back to Barcelona, after the race we had here in May, where we had Raul starting on the front row and leading the Sprint before crashing – so we were quite fast there and it will be interesting to see, after the months that have past, where we are this time. Also, the very positive news is that Miguel will be back with us! We are very happy to be able to finish the end of this season together, before we move on for 2025 with new challenges – particularly in Miguel’s case. So, we are really looking forward to Barcelona; aiming to have a successful weekend on track and hoping that we can show our support for all the people affected by the disaster in Valencia and proud of any help the weekend can bring to them.”

ROADMASTER ELITE

With bold, eye-catching paint, premium badging and top-of-the-line componentry, the new 2025 Indian Roadmaster Elite is the ultimate celebration of Indian Motorcycle’s timeless heritage and commitment to world-class craftsmanship. With only 300 available worldwide, the Roadmaster Elite proves it’s truly exclusive and truly elite.

Exclusive Styling

Between 1914-1918, Indian Motorcycle Company founder George Hendee had expanded Indian Motorcycle’s production facilities in Springfield, creating the most modern motorcycle manufacturing facility in the world. Skilled craftsmen hand assembled each bike with painstaking attention to detail. In addition to the famous Indian Motorcycle Red paint which debuted in 1904, Indian Motorcycle Springfield Blue was the other iconic brand color of this era.

Honoring that past, the new Roadmaster Elite wears a tri-tone signature paint scheme, with premium candy finishes throughout. Indian Motorcycle Springfield Blue Candy, Black Candy, and  Black Candy fade over a Silver base coat are complemented by Champion Gold outlined Headdress tank logos. The striking paint package is completed with signature Elite graphics and hand-painted gold pinstripes. Premium chrome-plated finishes glisten front to back and elevate classic craftsmanship to the highest level. To top off the custom touches, each Roadmaster Elite features serialized and individually numbered Elite badging, further signifying the bike’s exclusivity.

Rider-Centric Technology

Matching the Roadmaster Elite’s premium styling is high-end, rider-centric technology. Standard on Roadmaster Elite is Indian Motorcycle’s PowerBand Audio with Bass Boost. Twelve speakers located in the front fairing, saddlebags, and tour trunk deliver even more bass than the Roadmaster’s stock sound system. Each speaker’s UnderGlow lighting delivers stand-out, custom-inspired styling. To operate the PowerBand Audio system, riders will enjoy a 7-inch Touchscreen Display by RIDE COMMAND. Through this infotainment system, riders have Bluetooth® connectivity, access to GPS navigation, ride stats, and RIDE COMMAND+, including Bike Locator, Bike Health, Apple CarPlay® and more.

Powering the Roadmaster Elite is Indian Motorcycle’s air-cooled, V-twin Thunderstroke 116 engine – delivering 126 ft-lbs of torque with plenty of passing power in every gear. Three Ride Modes (Tour, Standard and Sport) allow riders to personalize their ride by adjusting the throttle response to suit their preference.

Improving nighttime visibility is the Indian Motorcycle Adaptive LED Headlight. The Adaptive LED Headlight provides even more illumination than stock headlights, as patented, cutting-edge technology optimizes the rider’s visibility by monitoring the bike’s lean angle to optimize illumination of the road ahead.

Luxury Comfort

Whether a day ride or a weekend getaway crushing long highway miles, Indian Motorcycle designed the 2025 Roadmaster Elite with unrivaled luxury and comfort. The bike’s 2-up Heated and Cooled seat delivers unparalleled comfort for both rider and passenger, as a graphene material optimizes heating or cooling distribution while maintaining superior comfort. Spacious floorboards and passenger armrests are also standard on the 2025 Roadmaster Elite.

Adding custom-inspired styling and delivering luxury comfort is an adjustable Flare Windshield. A handlebar-mounted switch will raise or lower the windshield by four inches – allowing riders to select their preferred windshield height for more or less wind on the face and helmet.

Finally, the 2025 Roadmaster Elite features remote-locking saddlebags and a tour trunk. Riders can simply press a button on the console or key fob, and cargo is stowed away safely.

Starting at $41,999, the 2025 Roadmaster Elite will begin shipping to dealers this month.

In addition to new models, 2025 Roadmaster models have been upgraded from a standard heated seat to Indian Motorcycle’s innovative Heated and Cooled seat – improving comfort in all weather conditions. Additionally, the 2025 Indian Springfield, Chieftain and Roadmaster models will introduce new paint color offerings, allowing riders a variety of options to meet their personal style preference.

The 2025 Indian Springfield, Chieftain and Roadmaster models will begin shipping this month to Indian Motorcycle dealers throughout the U.S. and Canada. MotoGP: Pedrosa Continuing As KTM Test Rider

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing have confirmed that Dani Pedrosa has penned a new one-year deal to continue his crucial development work with the Austrian factory in 2025.

Pedrosa’s connection with KTM stretches back to 2019 when he retired from full-time World Championship competition and had an immediate input into the evolution of the KTM RC16. Pedrosa has made four wildcard appearances while being a KTM Test Rider, and his influence in the technical development of MotoGP™ has become more significant.

The 39-year-old will continue to provide his unique insight along with the rest of the testing program and R&D efforts in Austria as Red Bull KTM Factory Racing look to make more forward steps for MotoGP 2025 and 2026.

Dani Pedrosa: “It’s a pleasure to take our journey into another year. We know where we need to make improvements, and the effort of the whole factory has not eased at all in making the best bike for the riders to perform on track. I’m looking forward to what we can do for 2025 and the ideas that will come along.”

Pit Beirer, KTM Motorsports Director: “This was a straightforward decision for both parties and that’s a good sign of a strong relationship and trust. We really believe in what Dani brings to our MotoGP program on different levels, not only in the saddle of the next generation of the KTM RC16, and this contribution is vital. We know the turnaround we are seeking will come and with Dani as part of the team it will only arrive quicker.”

Triumph Announces Rocket 3 Evel Knievel Limited Editions

Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled two new Limited Edition Rocket 3 motorcycles, celebrating the legendary partnership between Evel Knievel and Triumph. Offering riders a rare opportunity to own a piece of daredevil history with a record-breaking pedigree, Triumph will be making just 500 (250 each) of these special motorcycles available around the world.

The new Rocket 3 R and GT Evel Knievel Limited Editions honor the enduring relationship between Triumph and Knievel, from his first televised performance riding a Bonneville T120, to his breakthrough leap over the fountains at Caesars Palace.

Featuring stunning full chrome fuel tanks, the Limited Editions take inspiration from Knievel’s iconic white jumpsuit, adorned with Knievel’s iconic stars and stripes graphic on a crisp white base. The matching rear bodywork and contrasting Matte Sapphire Black panels, are paired with statement leather seats featuring a gold-embroidered Evel Knievel signature logo, creating a bold, impressive look.

Each bike features a unique start-up screen animation and individually numbered black and gold cam cover plate, laser-etched with the Evel Knievel signature logo. Every owner will also receive an exclusive collector’s edition hardback book telling the story of Evel Knievel and his Triumph motorcycles, each individually numbered to match their bike.
The Rocket 3 R and GT, with their record-breaking 2500cc engines, deliver power, performance, and agility worthy of the world’s most famous daredevil motorcyclist. As well as generating a phenomenal 166 lb-ft (225Nm) of torque and 180 HP (182PS) at 7000rpm, the Limited Editions benefit from a lightweight aluminum frame, high-specification suspension components, and top-tier braking performance, delivering effortless response and handling.

Paul Stroud: Chief Commercial Officer, Triumph Motorcycles

“Evel Knievel performed many stunts on Triumph motorcycles during the 60’s, but his jump at Caesar’s Palace on a T120 TT, was the moment he created a legend that has inspired generations of fans. Working with the Knievel family, we have created two striking Limited Editions that are as spectacular on the road as Evel Knievel was in his heyday. With just 250 of each model available globally, featuring beautiful Knievel design touches, and with a specially commissioned book celebrating his achievements with Triumph, these Rocket 3 Limited Editions will appeal to collectors, fans, and the thrill seekers among us.”

DISTINCTIVE DESIGN AND PREMIUM FINISHES

The iconic red, white, and blue color scheme which incorporates America’s stars and stripes, adorns the stunning chrome fuel tank, and continues on to the front mudguard, where it has been incorporated into a new EK graphic, while elegant gold signature graphics embellish the radiator cowls.

The exclusive color scheme, with Pure White accents, and contrasting Matte Sapphire Black panels on the flyscreen, headlight bowl, mudguards, side panels, and rear bodywork, highlights the bike’s powerful presence. The premium leather seat features a gold-embroidered Evel Knievel signature and inset brushed aluminum Triumph badge, while a custom Knievel-branded start-up screen animation provides a bespoke welcome every time the 2,500cc triple fires up.

Every owner will also receive an exclusive, collector’s edition hardback book, specially commissioned by Triumph, telling the remarkable story of Evel Knievel and his iconic connection with the brand. Written by renowned author and Knievel expert Stuart Barker, each book will be individually numbered to match the bike and signed by Triumph CEO Nick Bloor – a prized collectable in its own right for any fan of Triumph and Knievel.

ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE AND UNMATCHED PRESENCE

Riders can choose between the Limited Edition Rocket 3 R, with its bold muscle-roadster stance providing optimum power and control, or the Rocket 3 GT, which adds a more relaxed riding position and generous passenger accommodation.

Both are powered by the world’s largest production motorcycle engine and this raw power translates into exhilarating acceleration and an unforgettable ride experience. The distinctive triple-exit silencers further enhance the presence of both motorcycles, producing a deep, resonant exhaust note that complements its muscular performance and amplifies its commanding road presence.

PHENOMENAL HANDLING

Harnessing the Rocket’s impressive performance to deliver a controlled and compliant ride are large 1.85” (47mm) diameter Showa forks, adjustable for rebound and compression damping. At the rear is a Showa monoshock RSU with piggy-back reservoir, fully adjustable for preload, rebound, and compression damping.

Exceptional stopping power is provided by top-specification radial Brembo Stylema brake calipers with twin 12.6” (320mm) discs. These lightweight, compact, and high performing calipers offer great airflow for pad cooling during spirited riding. The Brembo M4.32 four-piston radial monobloc rear caliper and 11.8” (300mm) rear disc is bigger and more powerful than the front brake setup on many bikes, helping to provide massive stopping power. The Rocket 3 R and GT Evel Knievel Limited Editions retain full Optimized Cornering ABS functionality.

DISTINCT ERGONOMICS

Each Rocket offers a distinct feel and personality, due to key differences in their ergonomics. The roadster rider position and handlebar placement of the Rocket 3 R is designed to create a purposeful and engaging ride. The GT has a slightly more swept back set-up with a 4.9” (125mm) difference in grip position versus the R, for a more upright riding position.

Each model also gets its own dedicated seating set-up. The Rocket 3 R has a roadster rider and passenger seat with a 30.4” (773mm) seat height, offering comfort, low-speed confidence and maneuverability. Designed for enhanced comfort on longer rides, the Rocket 3 GT Evel Knievel Limited Edition offers greater touring comfort with more generously padded leather rider and passenger seats, with matching leather backrest, ensuring both comfort and style for the passenger. The seat height for the GT is just 29.5” (750mm), further improving rider confidence.

The biggest difference between the two models is the footpeg positions. The R has mid-foot controls, with two settings that offer 0.6” (15mm) of vertical adjustment, to cater for every size of rider, delivering a natural and sporty riding position. The GT has forward foot controls giving a more laid-back cruiser feel, with three horizontal position settings offering 1.97” (50mm) of adjustment, to provide the most comfortable position for long rides. Both R and GT models have innovative and neat retractable passenger footpegs.
Amplifying the bikes’ aggressive stance and attitude, both Rocket 3 Limited Editions have twin LED headlights with the Triumph maker’s mark triangle. The premium indicators, rear light, and number plate light deliver a distinctive light signature, maintaining the Rocket 3’s strong road presence even at night.

GENEROUSLY EQUIPPED

Intuitive rider-focused technology allows riders to confidently exploit the epic Rocket 3 performance potential.

Ride-by-wire enhances rideability, safety, and control, while the Rocket’s high-performance gearbox is engineered with helical cut gears to transmit the huge torque to the rear wheel smoothly. The Torque Assist clutch helps riders shift up and down the six-speed gearbox with satisfying speed and smoothness, while a Triumph Shift Assist quickshifter is available as an accessory fit for both models.

Both models feature optimized cornering ABS and traction control for enhanced stability, improving both straight line and cornering, acceleration and braking. Hill Hold prevents the bike from rolling backwards and applies the rear brake until sensing the rider is starting to move forward. Both come equipped with four riding modes (road, rain, sport, and rider-configurable) which adjust the throttle map and traction control settings.
The electronic cruise control system is fitted as standard. Activated by a single press of the button, the speed can be set and adjusted up or down in 1mph increments, as well as be resumed with just one touch.

Both models feature a high functionality full color TFT set-up with a five-way back-lit joystick. This has a minimal stylish design with two information layout design themes, and the adjustable instrument angle set-up provides optimum visibility for every height of rider. The rider can even personalize the start-up screen message with their name.
Adding extra security, both bikes have standard fit keyless ignition and steering lock, which can be disabled. The key fob can also be turned off to prolong battery life and increase security. Plus, there’s a USB charging socket in a dedicated compartment under the seat, where devices can be kept safe and dry while charging.

LIMITED EDITION WITH EXTRA PERSONALISATION

With over 50 Genuine Triumph Accessories to add comfort, practicality, style and security, riders can customize their Limited Edition Rocket to make it truly bespoke. Owners can choose from interchangeable R and GT foot controls, rider and passenger seats for tailored ergonomics, plug and play technology for greater convenience, styling parts to customize the look, and luggage solutions for longer rides.

ON THE ROAD

Arriving in dealerships from February 2025, the new Rocket 3 R Evel Knievel Limited Edition will be available from $27,495 in the US and $28,295 in Canada, while the Rocket 3 GT Evel Knievel Limited Edition will be $31.995 in the US and $32, 995 in Canada. MotoGP: Pirro Substituting For Di Giannantonio In Barcelona

The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team have announced that Ducati Test Rider, Michele Pirro, will step in for the recovering Fabio Di Giannantonio at the Motul Solidarity Grand Prix of Barcelona.

After Di Giannantonio underwent successful shoulder surgery in preparation for the 2025 season, Andrea Iannone made a highly anticipated return at the Malaysian GP when standing in for his compatriot. However, it will be Pirro who joins Marco Bezzecchi in the VR46 box at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya ahead of the first Official Test of 2025 taking place at the venue on Tuesday the 19th of November.

Due to the Ducati’s incredible form in recent years, the new concessions system that was introduced for the 2024 campaign means this will be Pirro’s first outing of the season and his first since the 2023 Japanese GP.

Australian Superbike: More From The Season Finale

ASBK classes last-gasp affairs at The Bend

It was a super Sunday at The Bend (SA) on November 10 as the 2024 mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul (ASBK) wrapped up, with the Michelin Supersport, Race and Road Supersport 300, ShopYamaha R3 Cup and Nolan Superbike Masters classes all crowning new champions under sensational spring sunshine.

An FIM Oceania title was also decided today, so let’s wrap it all up.

Michelin Supersport
The news we were all expecting in Michelin Supersport came to fruition on Sunday morning when Jonathan Nahlous played it smart to wrap up the championship after a trouble-free ride into sixth position.

The 18-year-old has produced a magnificent 2024 campaign, which began with a clean sweep at round one way back in February. He then continued to rack up the podiums and points with plenty of front-running zeal, despite being challenged from all directions in a crack field of emerging superstars.

“I can’t thank my whole team enough for what it has done all year,” said Nahlous. “To be in this position today is quite amazing. I’m just over the moon and, for everyone who has supported me during the season, thank you very much.”

Nahlous finished fifth overall at The Bend with his 4-6-5 scorecard, behind Stop and Seal Yamaha teammates Archie McDonald (1-1-3) and Jack Mahaffy (3-2-1), Olly Simpson (Yamaha, 2-4-2) and Tom Bramich (Yamaha, 6-4-4).

The gregarious McDonald was the big championship improver, leapfrogging from fifth to second at The Bend (28pts behind Nahlous), while Simpson dropped back to third (2pts behind McDonald).

Meanwhile, Mahaffy lifted his intensity throughout, and in the final race he cleared off to win by over three seconds.

Mahaffy also won the three-round FIM Oceania Circuit Racing Championship, where points were accrued at three rounds of the Michelin Supersport title in the second half of the season. That period corresponded with a purple patch of form for Mahaffy, who claimed the Oceania spoils from Simpson and McDonald.

Race and Road Supersport 300/Shop Yamaha R3 Cup
An enthralling day in the Race and Road Supersport 300 and ShopYamaha R3 Cup classes, with Josh Newman (Kawasaki) wrapping up the former in race two and Valentino Knezovic (Yamaha) only getting peace of mind in the last race of the day!

While returning international Cameron Swain (Yamaha) was the undisputed master across the weekend – six wins from as many starts in his one-round cameo – it was Newman who kicked off the major celebrations when he finished a solid eighth in Supersport 300 race two to win the crown.

“It is very surreal at the moment, but I’d like just like to thank everyone for all the hard work that they have put in.

“In race two, I really gave my all but I also wanted to stay out of trouble. In the last few laps I lost the lead group, so I just cruised home and on the last lap I knew it was a done deal.”

Newman finished the championship ahead of Knezovic (379 to 335pts) and Harrison Watts (Kawasaki, 326), while Swain won the round from Jordan Simpson (Yamaha) and Newman.

The R3 Cup was even more of a thriller, with Knezovic outlasting a fast-finishing Will Nassif by 2pts, with Simpson another 2pts back in third.

Swain won the round from Nassif and Simpson.

Nolan Superbike Masters

A quite extraordinary set of circumstances in the Nolan Superbike Masters finale, with the two hitherto dominant figures – Yamaha pilots Keo Watson and Jack Passfield – both out with injury and mechanical woes respectively, which opened the door for Ryan Taylor to come from the clouds to win the title.

Taylor was third in all three races at The Bend behind fellow Suzuki pilots Alex Phillis and David Johnson, which was enough to win the title on 123pts from Watson (115) and Passfield (110).

Phillis, who was a class above in the finale, finished on a fast-finishing 98.5pts behind Michael Berti Mendez (Ducati, 109).

The class winners are Mendez (Period 5 F1), Ross Dobson (Suzuki, Period 5 Unlimited), (Taylor, Period 6 Formula 1300) and Phillip Burke (Honda, Period 6 Formula 750cc).

Australian Superbike: History Made At The Bend

Josh Waters makes history with fourth Australian Superbike title

Josh Waters is the Australian Superbike Champion for a history-making fourth time following a gripping final round of the 2024 mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul (ASBK) at The Bend in South Australia on November 10.

Waters (McMartin Racing Ducati) and Mike Jones (Yamaha Racing Team) went into the third and final race at The Bend separated by 25pts, but after Jones crashed on lap one the pressure valve was completely released – even a DNF for Waters would have still seen him claim the championship spoils.

In true title-winning style, though, Waters still kept pushing hard and finished less than a second behind outgoing champion Troy Herfoss (DesmoSport Ducati) who became the third race winner over the weekend.

Waters’ 2024 championship is now added to his previous Superbike successes in 2009, 2012 and 2017, in what was a triumphant return to The Bend after he came out second best in a similar final round brawl against Herfoss in 2023.

Waters now stands supreme as the most successful rider in the 35-year history of the ASBK Championship, moving ahead of Jones, Herfoss, Shawn Giles, Wayne Maxwell and Glenn Allerton as three-time champions.

“That was bloody awesome!. I am so thankful to the McMartin Racing Team, and I’m just so rapt as it’s been a long time since I won a championship,” said a relieved Waters.

“The championships have all been special but what I’ve been through leading up to this one makes it even more special. Thank you to everyone who supports me.”

Waters completed the seven-round championship on 321.5pts, with Jones (276.5) hanging on for second over Broc Pearson (DesmoSport Ducati, 264.5).

Pirelli Superbike race two

After Jones got the job done in race one on Saturday to fire a ‘I’m not giving up without a fight’ warning shots across Waters’ bows, Waters’ Sunday morning retort was emphatic as he won the shortened seven-lapper after the first attempt was red-flagged when Superbike rookie Tom Toparis (Stop and Seal Yamaha) went down. The crash put the two-time Australian Supersport champion out for the balance of the day.

In the restart, Waters wasn’t in the mood for power sharing as he led from the front and, just when it appeared he was on the cusp of winning the championship with one race to spare, Jones speared up the inside of Herfoss on the final turn to finish second.

That meant the gap between the pair was 25pts, leaving a flicker of hope for Jones that if he won the final race and Waters was a DNF, the Yamaha man would win the championship based on a season race-winning countback.

Meanwhile, Anthony West (Addicted to Track Yamaha) was fourth in race two, followed by Arthur Sissis (Stop and Seal Yamaha) and Max Stauffer (Penrite Racing Yamaha).

Pirelli Superbike race three

It all boiled down to the final race of the season, but the tension was only fleeting after Jones crashed out at turn 13 on lap one and was unable to remount.

Waters was initially unaware that Jones had exited stage left, but he was soon made aware by his team as he eventually settled into second place behind Herfoss and in front of Sissis.

And that’s how the top three finished in the 11-lapper, just over a second apart, while top rookie Cameron Dunker (Penrite Racing Yamaha) was fourth from West and early leader, Pearson.

Herfoss was the sixth separate Pirelli Superbike winner in 2024, while Waters’ 2-1-2 scorecard at The Bend saw him the round winner from Sissis (3-5-3), West (4-4-5) and Jones (1-2-DNF).

Miguel Oliveira (88). Photo courtesy Trackhouse Racing.

SCOUT SIXTY LINEUP

Expanding the legendary Indian Scout lineup, Indian Motorcycle introduces an all-new Scout Sixty platform. Featuring three models (Scout Sixty Bobber, Sport Scout Sixty, Scout Sixty Classic) at varying trim levels, the 2025 Scout Sixty family features universal accessibility, iconic American design, and a legendary balance of power and control.

Starting at $9,999

The all-new Indian Scout Sixty is Indian Motorcycle’s most accessible model starting just under $10,000. The Scout Sixty’s class-leading low seat height delivers a confidence-inspiring ride for motorcyclists of all sizes and experience levels, while a low center of gravity gives the bike a lightweight feel off the kickstand and exceptional low-speed maneuverability. Standard across the entire lineup are mid controls – keeping riders’ feet planted firmly below for easier riding and better control.

Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) across the entire lineup, along with optional Traction Control and Ride Modes, which provide three distinct throttle responses to suit diverse riding styles, add to the Scout Sixty’s approachability.

Iconic American Design

Timeless style and perfect proportions are part of the Indian Scout’s DNA. The new Scout Sixty’s tubular steel frame offers a clean and simple approach ready for seamless customization. Like each Indian Motorcycle, fine American craftsmanship, and class-leading fit and finish separates the Scout Sixty from the competition.

The 2025 Indian Scout Sixty lineup features three models, matching personal styles and meeting diverse riding needs.

Model Lineup

  • Scout Sixty Bobber – Stripped down with an aggressive stance and class-leading low seat height, the Scout Sixty Bobber is the perfect expression of iconic bobber style. Blacked out with a black headlight bucket, the Scout Sixty Bobber reinforces a minimalist bobber aesthetic – featuring a solo bobber-style seat, slammed two-inch suspension, and 16-inch, five-spoke wheels.
  • Sport Scout Sixty – Offering a more aggressive and sporty spirit to the Scout Sixty lineup, Sport Scout Sixty’s Mini Ape Handlebars and integrated risers improve reach and control for more sporty riding. The sport-style seat provides riders with more comfort and allows them to ride longer, without compromising the bike’s sleek style. A Quarter Fairing provides wind protection while adding a stylish, custom look straight from the factory. Finishing off the Sport Scout Sixty is a 19-inch front wheel – adding style and delivering agile handling.
  • Scout Sixty Classic – Featuring heritage-inspired design, the Scout Sixty Classic offers premium chrome, classic Indian Motorcycle flared fenders, and flawless paint. Relaxed ergonomics, a low seat height, and 16-inch cast wheels deliver an easy, confident ride at every speed.
  • Legendary Balance of Power & Control

Powering the Indian Scout Sixty lineup is a completely redesigned SpeedPlus 999cc engine – delivering 65 ft-lbs of torque and 85 horsepower. The smaller, liquid-cooled engine and five-speed transmission offer a more approachable powertrain for riders of all levels.

Each Scout Sixty model is available in two trim offerings.

  • Standard – The Scout Sixty Standard trim provides riders with all the essentials for hitting the road. A next generation electrical architecture includes ABS, LED lighting, a larger battery, new fuel level gauge for more accurate and real-time fuel monitoring, and new hand controls for improved ergonomics and enhanced rider control. Standard trim includes an analog gauge and keyed ignition.
  • Limited – Raising the bar with rider-centric features, Limited trim models offer everything on Standard trim and adds even more. Cruise control offers a comfortable highway ride, Traction Control delivers confident and predictable handling, Ride Modes provide a tailored ride experience, and a USB charging port keeps devices fully charged while on the road. Limited models also feature exclusive badging across the engine and frame.

Scout Sixty Accessories

Compatible with Indian Scout 1250cc accessories, Scout Sixty riders have access to over 100 factory accessories. Riders looking to personalize and adjust riding ergonomics have access to a variety of handlebar options, different seats, including an extended reach seat, and forward controls. In total, Scout Sixty offers 32 different ergonomic configurations – allowing riders to ride longer and farther. Popular accessories available for the Scout Sixty include the following:

  • 4-inch Touchscreen Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND: Modern technology disguised in the classic aesthetic of an analog gauge. The 4-inch Touchscreen Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND offers GPS navigation, ride stats, controllable Ride Modes, Bluetooth® connectivity and more, improving convenience and enhancing the overall riding experience.
  • Quick Release Touring Windshield: The Indian Motorcycle Quick Release Touring Windshield not only adds custom style but disperses wind and protects riders from the elements.
  • Syndicate Seat: The 2-Up Syndicate Seat features interior foam padding for comfort and support for both rider and passenger. The black, leather-like vinyl provides long-term, all-weather durability and protection against rain, humidity and harsh sunlight. The 2-Up Syndicate Seat’s design complements the Scout and Scout Sixty’s flowing lines.
  • Touring Saddlebags: Helping keep riders’ gear and belongings safe and protected, the Touring Saddlebags feature sturdy Fidlock magnetic technology, an easy-on and easy-off magnetic closure device that delivers a quick, secure closure. The Touring Saddlebags also have a durable molded interior bucket that maintains its shape even when empty.
  • Bobber Saddlebag: With a Left and Right rear fender option available, the Bobber Saddlebag allows riders to pack the essentials while its fully weatherproof design provides added protection. The Bobber Saddlebag has a raw, no-frills style that complements the aggressive look of the Scout Bobber and Scout Sixty Bobber.

Starting at $9,999, the Scout Sixty lineup will begin shipping to dealers this month.

Dani Pedrosa (26). Photo courtesy KTM.

Customers can place an order or find out more at triumphmotorcycles.com.

The 2024 ASBK Champions: (L to R): Hunter Corney (Oceania Junior Cup), Jonathan Nahlous (Supersport), Josh Waters (Superbike), Josh Newman (Supersport 300) and Valentino Knezovic (R3 Cup). Photo by RBMotoLens/ASBK.

Josh Waters leads Troy Herfoss, Arthur Sissis, and Mike Jones in Pirelli Superbike action on Sunday at The Bend. Photo by RbMotoLens/ASBK.
