From a press release issued by Gimotorsports: FOLLOWING CONSIDERABLE REQUESTS FROM OUR CLIENTS, THE CHALLENGE BRUTALE WILL BE OPEN TO ALL OWNERS OF THE MOST EXCLUSIVE NAKED Thanks to the many requests by our clients, MV Agusta and Gimotorsports have decided to allow registration to the “Challenge Brutale 2008″ to all owners of the most exclusive naked on the market. Besides the one-make racing series originally planned, there will also be an “Open” championship reserved for all the models produced and equipped with a complete kit including: 1 set of Dunlop tires, 1 complete kit comprised of fairing/belly pan/tail/pillion seat cover, 1 “Challenge” seat cover, 1 Arrow steel and titanium exhaust, 1 set of racing footpegs, 1 set of braided brake lines, 1 set of articulated brake and clutch levers, 1 set of carbon fibre engine protection covers, 1 set of Braking disk brakes, 1 lap counter, 1 rear bike-stand, 1 set of Motul products, 1 paddock apparel kit, 1 Shark helmet, leather suit, pair of boots and gloves, a 25% discount voucher for an Ohlins steering damper, a 25% discount voucher on an Ohlins rear shock absorber, discount voucher for front stand. The registration fee for the Open class of the “Challenge Brutale 2008″ is 4.000,00 euros excluding VAT. Participants will have the opportunity of racing and enjoying a legend of motor-cycling that already has 75 World Championship titles under its belt. This internationally recognised machine is a symbol of Made in Italy. MV Agusta Motor S.p.A. is organising the BRUTALE CHALLENGE 2008 in collaboration with GIMOTORSPORTS who have been one of the key players in both Italian and international championships since 1990. Their invaluable experience will ensure the very highest degree of technical assistance to all the riders. The “one make” championship will be disputed with BRUTALE 1078RRs provided directly by the factory over 5 races on internationally famed tracks. Participants in the BRUTALE CHALLENGE must have an FMI competition licence that is valid for 2008 and that allows them to partake in such races. FMI/UEM licences are also valid. There will be cash prizes awarded for the winners of each race and at the end of the competition the absolute winner will be awarded with the bike he rode during the events. There will be a separate Ladies class and numerous other prizes awarded in the form of MV Agusta products. The new formulae will double the number of entrants: The first formula will involve 5 races, the use the motorcycle complete with racing kit, technical assistance at the tracks, preparation and maintenance during the championship, transportation of the motorcycle, suitable race and post-race clothing as well as complete food and board for the rider. The second formula will include everything listed above plus keeping the motorcycle after the last race of the championship. The entry fees are ┚¬ 21.000,00 and ┚¬ 31.000,00 respectively. Also included in the package is a pre-championship course in high speed riding conducted by official MV Agusta riders.
