Extended Caps for the Showa Big Piston Forks available from Traxxion Dynamics in time for Daytona We have just finished producing Extended Fork Caps for the Showa Big Piston Fork for the 2011 GSXR600 and 1000, and for the ZX6R and ZX10R. These caps use the stock fork cap’s internal parts and adjusters, but give the riders/mechanics the extra fork tube length they all need for racing geometry. The fork caps give the fork up to 14mm of extra length, and have lines scribed on the side for quick reference height adjustment. They have Traxxion’s unique internal hex design to give more side surface area, and make them easy to remove in the aftermath of a crash. The parts are hot off the machine and aren’t even anodized yet. Teams that purchase the caps now can use them for Daytona, and we’ll exchange them for anodized parts after Daytona at no charge.
