Superbike Fan Party Scheduled For Saturday Night At California Speedway

Inaugural Superbike Fan Party at California Speedway for AMA Suzuki Superbike Challenge SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (April 27, 2007) — California Speedway will host a unique family fun activity on Saturday, April 28th starting at 5 p.m. in the Lifestyle Expo during the AMA Suzuki Superbike Challenge. The Inaugural Superbike Fan Party will include a rider autograph session and music, as well as drinks and food from Buffalo Wild Wings. There will also be a special viewing of the 93-minute film, The Doctor, The Tornado, and The Kentucky Kid. Riders scheduled to appear include: Kevin Schwantz, as well as Ben Spies, Mat Mladin, and Tommy Hayden from Team Yoshimura Suzuki, Steve Rapp, and Ben Attard from the Attack Kawasaki team, Aaron Yates and Jake Holden from Jordan Suzuki, and Eric and Ben Bostrom from Team Yamaha. Rider lineup is subject to change. The Lifestyle Expo is located in the infield suite parking lot and entrance is free with the purchase of a Saturday ticket. The Doctor, The Tornado and The Kentucky Kid tells the story of the biggest motorcycle race in American History, the 2005 Red Bull U.S Grand Prix at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. With Celebrity cycle fans like Brad Pitt and Adrien Brody in the crowd and racing enthusiast Ewan McGregor providing dramatic narration this documentary is a must see for every Motorcycle fan. “The multi day schedule of the AMA Suzuki Superbike Challenge makes a Saturday night party a natural extension of the event activities,” said Gillian Zucker, president of California Speedway. “Our goal at the Speedway is to always exceed expectations when it comes to the fan experience. This autograph session and movie are prime examples of how we continue to deliver on that promise”. Tickets to the Suzuki Superbike Challenge weekend, Friday, April 27 through Sunday, April 29, are on sale now. Don’t miss out on all of the extreme, two-wheeled action happening at Southern California’s premier sports venue. Prices range from $10 on Friday to $30 on Saturday and Sunday and kids 12 and under are free. Two and three-day packages, along with pit passes and fan laps are also available. Tickets can be purchased on site at Gate 18.
