Albuquerque, NM The SMRI is excited to announce the 2007 Event Calendar. New for 2007, the Southwest Vintage Cup which is a partnership between Roadracing Southwest CCS and the SMRI for a 4 race series. Returning in 2007 the New Mexico State Championship Series, this is a four race series between ASMA and the SMRI and is open to all riders. Last year Ray Thornton surprised Ivan Garza to claim the $1,000.00 pay out and become the inaugural #1 plate holder. In 2007, more local area riders will take aim at that cash purse and the #1 plate.
