Bobby Fong, riding for Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing, took pole in the final MotoAmerica Superbike qualifying session at VIRginia International Raceway on Saturday with a best lap time of 1:24.227, just ahead of Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Sean Dylan Kelly. Cameron Beaubier of Tytlers Cycle Racing finished third on his BMW, followed by Richie Escalante on another Vision Wheel M4 ECSTAR Suzuki and Hayden Gillim on the Real Steel Honda in fourth and fifth. In the combined results, Fong led, followed closely by Kelly, Beaubier, Josh Herrin on the Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati and Jake Gagne for Attack.
