Angel Piqueras was quickest during Moto3 World Championship practice Friday morning at Red Bull Ring – Spielberg, in Austria. Riding his FRINSA – MT Helmets – MSI KTM on Pirelli control tires, the Spaniard covered the 2.7-mile (4.35 km) road course in 1:40.493, topping the field of 26 riders.
Valentin Perrone was the best of the rest with a 1:40.668 on his Red Bull KTM Tech3.
Alvaro Carpe was third with a lap time of 1:40.734 on his Red Bull KTM Ajo.
