FIM Adjusts Minimum Weight Limits For 2011 Superbike And Supersport World Championships

FIM Superbike & Supersport World Championships FIM Superstock Cup Decision of the Superbike Commission The Superbike Commission, composed of Mr Paolo Flammini (IMS), Claude Danis (FIM) and Giulio Bardi (Team representative), during a meeting held on 25 September in Imola, unanimously decided to introduce the following modifications to the Road Racing Superbike & Supersport World Championships and FIM Superstock Cup regulations. Application 2011 Technical regulations Superbike The minimum weight of all motorcycles is 165kg [363.8 pounds]. The minimum weight adjustment system will be modified accordingly. Supersport The minimum weight of all motorcycles is 161kg [354.9 pounds].
