THE MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP COMES BACK TO THE GRAN PREMIO DE PORTUGAL AFTER FOUR WEEKS. IN THIS EVENT BLUSENS BQR WILL PARTICIPATE WITH THREE RIDERS THANKS TO THE WILD CARD JOHNNY ROSSELL GOT Estoril, 1st October 2009. The cancellation of the Grand Prix of Hungary, which was going to take place fifteen days ago at the circuit of Balatonring, has kept the riders of the MotoGP World Championship away from the competition for a month, but finally this weekend the races continue with the Gran Premio de Portugal, penultimate event of the championship on European ground. In two weeks the Asian journey starts with the GGPP of Australia and Malaysia. The Gran Premio de Portugal, placed in the Circuit of Estoril, is considered by Spanish teams as the fourth GP run at home. That is the reason why a lot of the teams use this circuit to introduce their wild cards. The team Blusens BQR is one of them; for this event they count with Tito Rabat and Scott Redding, as usual, but also with Johnny Rosell, who already debuted in the World Championship this season in the Gran Premio de Catalunya, where he did quite a remarkable performance. He managed to finish the race in the 23rd place and he progressed continually in the practice sessions. Scott Redding arrives to this new event of the World Championship with not so pleasant memories of last year. He had two days of very complicated practices and a problem with the power of his Aprilia, so at the end he did not score any points in Estoril, a circuit that was totally new for him. He finished in the 21st place. However, he hopes he will do a lot better this time. His aim is to score a good amount of points and this way go up some positions in the general classification and get a little bit closer to his goal of being one of the top ten by the end of the season. He needs 23.5 more points in order to be one of the top ten, which means that he can not make any more mistakes. On the other hand, Tito did not make a great race in Portugal 2008 either, so he is full of energy and expectations for this new opportunity. He aspires to make a good race, which is especially important to him now that he is living one of his worse seasons since he became a MotoGP rider. He has spent the four weeks between Misano and Estoril working hard and practicing to be able to finish the season in the best way that he can, which is scoring points in all the four events that are left. Then he will go up some positions in the general classification (he is now 20th). Lastly, Johnny’s aim is quite different. He was not lucky in the CEV (Spanish Championship) last weekend in Albacete, where he crashed after battling with a rival in the middle of a great catch up. Nevertheless, he wants to keep learning and gaining experience, observing the riders from the World Championship and become a better professional himself, so that he can seriously fight for his first podium in the CEV.
