Sportbike rider and L.A. County Sheriffs Department motorcycle officer James Mulay was deliberately run down and rammed August 28th by an alleged bank robber, suffering serious injuries to his spine, back, pelvis and ribs. He was transported to a trauma hospital where he remains in serious condition, but is presently expected to survive. In response to Deputy Mulay’s serious injuries and expected extended rehabilitation, the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriffs office will host a blood drive and fundraiser for the deputy on Friday, September 8th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Malibu/Lost Hills Station. In addition, Sheriffs Relief Fund #402 has been established for Mulay, his wife and family. The motorcycle community can contribute directly to the relief fund, as well as through donations of motorcycle items to be auctioned at a later date on Officer Mulay’s behalf. You can bring or mail your checks or items to: Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriffs Station 27050 Agoura Road Agoura, CA 91301 Attn: SRF Fund #402 or James Mulay #402 For additional information, please contact the Malibu/Lost Hills Station at 818-878-1808.
