BEi Racing/Dunlop Development Team Wins Round One Of WERA National Endurance Championship At Talladega

ROUND #1 WERA NATIONAL ENDURANCE PRESENTED BY LUCAS OIL AT TALLADEGA GRAN PRIX 4/27/2013

Round #1 of the WERA National Endurance Series is over – 17 Teams battled for 4 hours and BEi Racing/Dunlop Development took the top spot on the podium with their Suzuki GSX-R1000 – riding duties were split between 3 Lifetime WERA Riders: Tim Bemisderfer, Mark Junge and Team Owner Billy Ethridge. Coming in behind them only one lap back was TOBC Racing 600 on their Suzuki GSX-R600, Curtis Murray and young gun rider Nick McFadden got the job done for them. Longtime Endurance Team Army of Darkness brought out their new BMW1000 to challenge the field and took 3rd place overall with Sam Fleming, Ben Walters and Chris Peris sharing riding duties. The lucky recipients of the Lucas Oil travel bonus were MWR Investigations and Army of Darkness in the Heavyweight Class; TOBC Racing 600 and Quick Time Cycle in the Mediumweight Class and Navy SeaBee Team 670 and Abacus in the Lightweight Superbike Class. These teams all received $250.00 at the Rider’s Meeting thanks to Lucas Oil Products.

Class Winners for the weekend: BEI Racing/Dunlop Development in Heavyweight Superbike; TOBC Racing 600 in the Mediumweight Superbike and TOBC Racing 650 in the Lightweight Superbike.
