Following the success of the initial RoadRACE DVD, we are pleased to announce the release of the latest version: RoadRACE 2004. “RoadRACE 2004″ is an exciting NEW motorcycle racing film that comprises high speed on-board racing footage, set to a fast paced soundtrack, combined with in-depth race related features. These include a look at endurance racing, at engine building, at a 300hp turbo racebike, there is a crash section, a “how-to” section on repair, a look at suspension set-up, a look at track-days both here and in the UK, Pirelli Girls, as well as interviews with all levels of racers (including Schwantz, Bostrom and Yates). The DVD also features a track library of on-board laps combined with a moving track map from 8 southeast tracks: Barber Motorsports Park, Road Atlanta, Roebling Road Raceway, Virginia International Raceway, Nashville, Jennings GP, Talladega and Carolina Motorsports Park. Written and directed by Mark Brereton, a WERA racer himself, RoadRACE 2004 goes much further than a simple season’s review of racing. Using the WERA Motorcycle Racing series as a primary source for its material, RoadRACE 2004 is an entertaining journey through the excitement of club level motorcycle racing here in the USA. The DVD runs to 150 minutes, and was compiled from hundreds of hours of on-board and trackside footage. ACTION FUND This film follows the success of the original RoadRACE DVD that generated over $4000 for the Roadracing World Action fund. RoadRACE 2004 also pledges 10% of sales towards this same charity, which promotes the use of soft barriers to increase rider safety. The filmmaker, Mark Brereton, 32 is originally from the UK but has been living in the US for 7 years. Brereton races a GSXR750 in WERA Expert classes. The DVD is available online by visiting www.roadracedvd.com and for every DVD sold Brereton is donating 10% to the Roadracing World Action Fund.
