Team Pro-Motion Adds Date At Summit Point Raceway

Warminster, P.A. (March 19, 2010)-Team Pro-Motion announced today that it has secured an additional date, Friday May 7, on the soon to be REPAVED SUMMIT POINT RACEWAY MAIN Course. “We’re excited, as is the entire two wheel community, to see Summit Main come back to its glory with a fresh face,” said Marc Frank, Director of Operations for Team Pro-Motion. “Summit Point has a long history as a favorite track for our members and we are proud to be a small part of that history in conducting our track day events there. Our members have been looking forward to these repairs and having the repave complete before our first event on SPR is outstanding.” Summit Point Motorsports Park is located 70 miles southwest of downtown Washington, DC and 40 minutes drive from Dulles International Airport. 20 minutes in nearby in Winchester, VA and Charlestown WV spectators and participants will find many accommodations and restaurants. Summit Point Motorsports Park also offers three additional circuits, Shenandoah, Jefferson, and a karting/autocross circuit(Washington) in addition to the Main circuit. Team Pro-Motion is proud to offer the following rider skill building classes: – ART Level I, for the new track day rider. Offering skills building drills for cornering, body position, consistency, and above all track safety. – ART Level II, picks up where Basic leaves off and focuses on improving skills such as composition of a good line, cornering (entry and exit), throttle control, more on body position, and techniques to make you smooth and predictable on the track. – ART Level III, Personal Training working with a Senior Instructor and tailored to meet YOUR specific riding goals. – ART RACE, for the seasoned track day enthusiast seeking their amateur race license. This school meets or exceeds training requirements to apply for your CCS, or AHRMA amateur license and gets you through your first Rookie Race! – ART DIRT, aimed at both the track and street rider this school concentrates on improving techniques, control, balance, timing and confidence.
