Ducati Supporting Canadian Superbike Championship With $70,000 CAD In Contingency

Ajax, ON – 3 May 2023 – Ducati Canada is pleased to announce their support platform for the 2023 Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) with new homologated models and contingency program.

With its dominating presence in superbike classes all over the world, including the reigning World SBK championship, the Panigale V4 will continue to be eligible for CSBK competitors in the Superbike class for the 2023 season. Adding to the competition in 2023 is the potent Panigale V2 in the CSBK Sport Bike class.

Newly crowned Daytona 200 Champion and taking home the 2022 MotoAmerica Supersport Championship, Josh Herrin and his Warhorse HSBK Racing Ducati NYC Panigale V2 have proven the Panigale V2 to be a serious contender for the CSBK Sport Bike class.

To support CSBK competitors who pilot the Panigale V4 in Pro Superbike and Panigale V2 in Pro Sport Bike, Ducati Canada is introducing a new contingency program that includes a per race payout up to $2,500 CAD and an impressive championship bonus up to $10,000 CAD.

Jason Chinnock – CEO, Ducati North America

“Continuing the momentum created last year with the homologation of the Panigale V4 it is exciting to have the Panigale V2 diversifying the level competition in Canada,” said Chinnock. “Having both race-proven models and a competitive contingency program we are looking forward to giving Ducatisti in Canada even more riders to cheer on in 2023”.
