ACS [Auto Club Speedway] Confirms Track Redevelopment

It’s official, Auto Club Speedway has finally confirmed that it will indeed pursue a re-development of its facility and speedway. After more than two decades of unmatched fun at Auto Club Speedway, Fastrack will move to a multi-prong program in 2023 that provides continued layers of rider development and enjoyment to our track-day family.

Here is a preview of what’s on the horizon:

1 – Multiple tracks: We will run events at various SoCal tracks, as well as expand to adjoining states, namely Nevada and Arizona, that also offer exciting and well-appointed circuits. You can already book, via the Fastrack website, upcoming track days for the first part of the year at ACS, J4Force Camp and Buttonwillow Raceway Park.

2 – Deeper coaching and training formats: We will be providing various engagement formats with expanded rider development opportunities:

a) ProActive coaching, a unique coaching program that Fastrack introduced in recent times, will be available at select events. Coaching by top Professional road racers, available to all levels throughout the day on and off the track, is included with your track-day price. Complete with classroom breakout sessions and lectures, one-on-one lead-follow guidance on the track as well as off-track, personalized, on-demand coaching accompanied by video footage critiqued by our top coaches throughout the day. Look to book these days on our website for April and May with more dates coming later in the year.

b) J4ORCE Fastrack High Performance Camp: This is a unique program developed by four-time AMA Superbike National Champion Josh Hayes; designed for Fastrack riders and racers that want to learn and improve their skills to ride safer, faster, smarter. The course includes lectures and one-on-one coaching by Josh Hayes himself, and flat-track (dirt) drills tailored to help you leap out of your comfort zone in a safer environment while red-lining the fun meter. Practice sliding the rear wheel on a dirt bike at manageable speeds and develop the necessary skills to ride with more confidence on the road course. The first class is already confirmed for February, and you can sign up for it now. Do it early as space is very limited.

3 – The International Track Experiences: Ride the iconic European tracks you see in MotoGP, in an environment fully catered by your favorite track organization. Just fly and ride tracks like Mugello, Portimão, Jerez and others. Dates and track(s) to be announced soon.

4 – Say goodbye to Auto Club Speedway party: Our last event for the foreseeable future at Auto Club Speedway will be January 21-22. Come and rip around ACS and join us in celebrating some wonderful times at this great track. See if you can beat your PB or find the ideal corner entry to your favorite challenge one last time. This will be a very special event.

We’re excited about these changes, now at more tracks and with more options, and Fastrack’s 30-year evolution of perfecting the best track-day experience possible to all levels of riding. The tracks may vary, but the top-notch service and family atmosphere will continue, and we look forward to spending quality fast times together in 2023.
