Team Traction Control fired up for Brands Hatch

Team Traction Control arrives at Brands Hatch this weekend for the second round of the season aiming for victories in both the Motorpoint British Supersport and Pirelli National Superstock 600 Championships.

In the Supersport class James Rispoli and Andy Reid are focused on securing the team their first podium finish of the season after a solid start to the year at Donington Park, whilst Joe Francis is aiming to add to his podium finish from the opening round on the 1.2-mile Indy circuit.

Rispoli said: “I think after Donington Park it has given us even more drive to succeed. I have been training hard with James Ellison since the last round, and I feel strong so I am looking forward to getting back on track this weekend. We know we ended the season strongly there last year and with some set-up changes we have for this weekend, I feel that we will be ready to roll. The mindset is all about getting back on the box and being in the top three where I know we should be.”

Reid said: “Brands Hatch has been pretty good for me in the past – last season I was fastest in every session, led the race and then only dropped back on the last few laps so I am feeling fairly confident. We want to carry the momentum we have into this weekend; we still are not completely there on the set-up yet, but we have some ideas and we will be good to go.”

Francis said: “I feel quite confident going to Brands Hatch. It is going to be tough and qualifying is going to be key. The first round you never know how it is going to go, but I think we had a good start and now we need to build on that. We have been on the podium and now we need to try and get the win.”
