Team Rabid Transit Confirmed To Compete In The Bol d’Or 24-Hour

Team Rabid Transit will once again field an entry into the FIM Endurance World Championship with round one of the new season at The Bol d’Or 24-Hour event this weekend. Ivan Silva and Brandon Cretu piloted their YART supported R1 to an impressive 8th place in Superbike and 14th overall at the Oschersleben 8-Hour, which was the final round of the “2016” season. The team will once again be fully supported by the Yamaha Austria Racing Team who will also be aiming for top class results at the opening round of this new season.

The Team Rabid Transit entry will consist of returning riders Ivan Silva and Brandon Cretu. They welcome Max Neukirchner and Igor Jerman to the team as well for this event. Silva, Neukirchner, and Jerman will act as the three main riders with Cretu as the reserve rider for the grueling 24-hour event.

Team Manager, Brandon Cretu, commented:

“Our first outing in World Endurance was obviously difficult with only two riders sharing the duties but I think it is fair to say we put in a good performance and it was only fitting that we return for the Bol d”Or. We have a large interest in the EWC series with some projects some of our partners have going on in the background, which I will be working on while I’m here. Wish us luck and I look forward to announcing our full plans for 2017 shortly!”

Team Rabid Transit rider, Sheridan Morais, will also be competing the event with the YART team alongside Josh Hayes and Broc Parkes.
