​'s 6th Annual Broken Wing Benefit Raises $10,300 For Motorcycle Safety At Blackhawk Farms Raceway

(DELAVAN, WI) Continuing its dedication and commitment to motorcycle safety, held its Broken Wing fundraiser at Blackhawk Farms Raceway, Saturday September 2nd delivering another stellar result with $10,300 in donations from the annual benefit. 

In 2012, established the annual benefit to promote motorcycle safety and support the deployment, management and maintenance of airfence units at its home track, Blackhawk Farms Raceway through the Roadracing World Action Fund. To date, the Broken Wing benefit has raised $43,301.00 for motorcycle safety at Blackhawk Farms Raceway.

To kickstart fundraising activities and feed the hungry participants, Buffalo Wild Wings - Beloit graciously donated its award winning Wings as the dinner main course alongside Joan Rooney’s famous mostaccioli with additional side items, condiments, drinks provided by Blackhawk Farms Concessions.

Doug Jackson, Woodstock Harley-Davidson owner, entertained the dinner crowd with a precision riding skills demonstration aboard his Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle. To spur donations, Doug offered a “Beat The Pro” challenge for anyone who could navigate the riding course with more skill and precision, wins a free track day! Although no one “Beat the Pro” , Doug had his closest competition dueling with track record holder, professional racer Jason Farrell of Farrell Performance onboard his Kawasaki Z125 PRO motorcycle to add to the excitement before the live auction activities.

“Every year we run the Broken Wing, I am energized by the outpouring of incredible support from my dedicated staff, our motorcycling community, partners, sponsors, volunteers, riders and family.” said Kathleen Casey owner. “This year’s result brings our total raised by the Broken Wing to $43,301.00 for the Action Fund and motorcycle safety. I’d like to personally thank everyone who helped make 2017, our best Broken Wing ever, thank you all!”
