However for METZELER the first round of the season will be the North West 200, scheduled in Northern Ireland from May 10 to 17, which has become one of the biggest sporting events in Ireland and one of the fastest road racing competitions with the participation of the best road racers.

Also located in Northern Ireland, the METZELER Ulster Grand Prix (August 11 to 16) will take place with 50,000 spectators onsite ready to see their idols race on a 11.9 km track at an average speed of 223 km/h, a peculiarity that has made it famous as "the fastest road race in the world".

The road racing season of METZELER will conclude in November with another atmospheric and historic event for all road racing fans, the Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix, which kicks off on November 13.
