Chicken Hawk Racing says its new knee sliders are heavier and harder. Made from a high-tech plastic, the new sliders now weigh 9.0 ounces (up from 7.2 ounces) and the compound is more dense and even harder than the one in previous models. That means the slider will last longer than previous models. Suggested retail for a pair of sliders in the standard compound is $25; for the harder compound, $30.
