Bridgestone posts over $3 million in contingency for 2012
NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations has announced the details of its 2012 amateur road race and supermoto contingency program. With over $3 million available again this year, racers that choose Bridgestone brand race products such as the Battlax R10 and BT-003 DOT tires, supermoto tires, and various slicks and rain tires will have the opportunity to participate in the program.
Bridgestone has been supporting amateur road racing for more than 15 years with high quality tires, competitive pricing and generous contingency payouts that help offset the costs of racing. Performance Service Tire Company of Indianapolis, Ind., administers the contingency program and distributes race products through 13 different race tire companies located in various regions of the USA.
