Overall the Blackhawk Farms Raceway Broken Wing Benefit delivered $6,500.00 for the Roadracing World Action Fund with proceeds generated from the individual donations, contest and auction items.
"Blackhawk Farms Raceway wishes to thank everyone who helped make The Broken Wing Benefit a success with special thanks to JOS Motorsports and John Udell for hosting our party," said Kathleen Casey BFR Event Coordinator.
"We are very grateful for the support, generous donations from many, alongside the dedication from the BFR/Motovid.com staff who volunteered to the cause," Casey added.
Professional stunt riders, Ryan Suchanek and Joe Beavers of Vertical Mischief, kicked off the benefit with an awesome stunt show on the front straight showing off their incredible two wheel skills, control and extreme talents to entertain the crowd before the auctions and contests activities began. While local rider, and skilled Grill Master Steve Harris had a closer battle for the BFR Wing Master title edging all others by 2 votes with his secret recipe, soon to be available thru Cafe Fastee for special events. Each winner received a full season of All Levels Motorcycle Track Days and JOS Motorsports events in 2013.
"JOS was honored to host the benefit this year. It's all for a good cause and a good time was had by all. We look forward to doing it again next year, even bigger," said John Udell, JOS Motorsports. "Thanks to Motovid.com and everyone at Blackhawk Farms who helped make the JOS Motorsports Track Day Weekend Series a success this year. Most importantly, thanks to all the riders who participated and helped out. See you in 2013 for the second annual Broken Wing Benefit."
