AMA Pro Racer Skip Salenius Sets Up Charity Auction For Four-Year-Old Cancer Patient

Via e-mail:

A few months ago, a friend of mine for almost 20 years asked me to donate something to do with my racing for a benefit ride for his 4 year old son with cancer. I said,"Sure!"

He asked me in the middle of the season when I was slammed. The benefit ride came and went. A couple weeks after the ride, I realized I had missed out on being a part of Teagan's ride. It weighed on me for a month or so as I tried to figure out what I could do to make it up to the Griffin family.

This is what I decided to do. I'm having one of the coolest assorted racing memorabilia charity auctions you've seen in a while. I've gotten items from: Scott Russell , Blake Young , Josh Herrin , Jason Disalvo , the Haydens, Hayes, Peris, Wood.......and many others. The list is growing every day.

I just want to make a difference in a kids life this Christmas. A kid that's already gone through a struggle that most adults never have to deal with. So Teagan Griffin...this will be my Christmas present to you. I hope all the people in the motorcycle community will take a look whats on the auction block. I'm pretty sure there's something you'll want! Thanks everyone!
