Karel Abraham will not take part in Valencia and will be again replaced by Anthony West

Karel Abraham will be skipping the last race of the MotoGP season. After a consultation with physicians, the Czech rider decided not to put his injured foot under pressure and skip the last race. As in the previous two overseas races, Australian rider Anthony West will be his replacement.

Karel Abraham:

“It would be nice to come back at least for the last race but the cons dominate over the pros. The idle mode helped me a lot in recovery, the foot is getting better and better and I can even put some weight on it. If I sat on a bike and rode on 100%, my condition would get several weeks back in time and the recovery would be prolonged. It would not be good since I probably still have some “riding” to do this year. I wish Tony good luck and the best possible result. I will tell him that in person as well since I surely don’t want to miss this grand finale.”
