The Willow Springs Motorcycle Club (WSMC) 2011 season opener scheduled for January 15-16 at Willow Springs Raceway will have a paramedic-staffed ALS (Advanced Life Support) ambulance from Hall Ambulance on standby. That’s the word according to an e-mail sent to WSMC licensed racers today. That’s also a reversal of a December 29th, 2010 press release, which stated that the Rosamond, California racetrack would use its own EMT-staffed BLS (Basic Life Support) ambulance on site, with an off-site county-licensed ambulance called in the event a rider needed to be transported to a hospital. The e-mail sent today follows. TO ALL CLUB MEMBERS: Willow Springs Motorcycle Club will have an ALS (Advanced Life Support with Paramedic) Ambulance On-Stand By at our event. Best Regards, Willow Springs Motorcycle Club
