WERA Renames F3 Classes For Fallen Racer Kenny Anderson

Editorial Note: WERA’s Formula 3 Sportsman and Formula 3 National Challenge classes will now be known as the Kenny Anderson Formula 3 classes. A FATHER HONORS HIS SON Eric Anderson, father of Kenny Anderson who lost his life after a crash at an AFM Event this year is honoring his son’s memory by becoming the Title Sponsor for the Michelin/WERA National Challenge Series Formula 3 Class for the balance of the 2013 Season. WERA Motorcycle Roadracing will also honor Kenny’s memory by extending that title to the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series F3 Class at all WERA West Rounds presented by Lucas Oil for the remainder of 2013. “The loss of a child is so hard for a parent and Eric and Kenny had such a special bond with their love of each other and of our sport. To have Eric do this is remarkable and we at WERA Motorcycle Roadracing will never forget how many people Kenny touched in his short life and time in our community”, said WERA President Evelyne Clarke. WERA Motorcycle Roadracing was founded in 1973 and remains the foremost place to develop talent in the sport of motorcycle Roadracing. The legacy of Pro riders on a National and World level is legendary. All events are run by WERA Motorcycle Roadracing and they go coast to coast offering entry level racing with the Pirelli/WERA Sportsman Series as well as a Pro-Am Series with the Michelin/WERA National Challenge Series which includes the only traveling Endurance Series in the US using the World Endurance platform for most of the rules.
