Team Pro-Motion is evolving. The track service business for Team Pro-Motion, a Pennsylvania based track riding sportbike club, has been proving very successful. “In seeing an over 28% growth rate in membership during 2005 and a steady increase in participation and interest over the last 8-years, many riders are finding early entry is the smart choice,” claims Linda Rabb, General Manager. Now Team Pro-Motion is looking in new directions after experiencing a very successful two years of wheel to wheel racing during track events; its very own racing series is doing quite well. The GP series started life as a spec-80 class where Pro-Motion supplied identically prepared two-stoke machines to participants who looked for that extra fun factor added to the standard track time. Changing the series for riders to enter their own machines replaced the 80s for 2005 and great results were had by many along with Series Champions who won by utilizing the points structure. New for 2006, Pro-Motion is offering what they call “Premier Racing Events.” Five events throughout their over 70 track dates will feature a half-day track event followed by five separate races for points, awards, and in one class a sizable cash purse. “I’ve always been a fan of racing since I was a young kid,” said Goldman, Pro-Motion’s President. “Coming from a background of racing it gives us great pleasure in organizing events where riders can enjoy friendly competition in a fun and rewarding way.” Pro-Motion’s ART or Advanced Rider Training schools add to the racing mix. The “ART-RACE” one of four separate schools available gives students the information necessary to obtain a racing license not only to compete at Pro-Motion’s racing events, but is also valid for CCS, WERA and AHRMA. The newest school called “ART-PRO” features long time successful racer Arthur Diaz and BMW Champion racer Nate Kern as the primary instructors. Goldman himself also teaches one on one which he calls “PT” or personal training and claims that his unusual techniques, some adapted from his automobile racing, are proving very positive immediate results in over 80% of his students while the remaining 20% catch on usually sooner than later. Team Pro-Motion will be displaying during the International Motorcycle Shows in Washington and New York where you can visit them for more information.
