SPEARS RACING LOOKING TO ADD TO ITS 50 CLASS CHAMPIONSHIPS IN 2004

Spears Enterprises, based out of California has been known as the Sport Twin leader, specializing in high performance parts for the Suzuki SV650. Home of the captive wheel spacer and preferred piston kit, Spears offers their own custom parts for first-generation SV’s, along with the newer fuel injected SV650. Gregg Spears brings 28 years of motorycle experience and builds Superbike-spec and Supersport-spec engines for the SV650, SV1000, TL1000 and EX500.

Spears has claimed over 50 class championships and currently holds the 2001-2003 CCS Pacific #1 plate, along with the 2002-2003 CCS Southwest #1 plate. Gregg’s expanded east with Spears teammmate Ted Temple, based out of New York, along with Lance Yeager from Pennsylvania. He’s also added WERA’s 2003 Novice Sportsman Formula 2 National Champion, Eddie Kraft, out of Michigan. Both Ted and Eddie will be racing new Suzuki SV650s in CCS, along with WERA’s regional and national series. Lance will be campaigning WERA’s National Endurance Series on a new SV650 as well. All three are looking to add to the success that Brian Long has claimed for Spears over the past 7 years.
