FIRST PERSON/OPINION

Via e-mail:

I just wanted to say goodbye, or better yet see you all later, to my friends, fellow racers and tire patrons. My National Guard Unit from Savannah, Georgia was called up and have to head overseas.

The past five years have been a blast helping a lot of you as the Southeast Dunlop Tire Rep and I can’t wait to get back and continue our fun and friendship.

I am heading to Afghanistan on the 29th of March and won’t get to see you for 12 months or so, I’ll be flying all around the country in my Chinook helicopter wishing I was at the track.

I don’t have an address yet but hopefully will be able to get my email, [email protected]. Maybe I can get a note or two from you while I am away.

Hope you all have a safe and successful year and see you when I get back.
