Show Us Your Rides, Part 20: Derrick Whyte

This off-season we’re running a series showing your motorcycles. Not just your road racing bikes, but your streetbikes, motocross bikes, dirt bikes, pit bikes, mini bikes, trials bikes, land-speed bikes, drag bikes, speedway bikes, whatever you’ve got. If you have more than one bike, send photos of them all–alone or with you! Send in-focus bike photos (as jpeg files) along with the make, model and year of each bike and your name, city and state, plus the name of the photographer, to [email protected]. By sending us the photos, you are certifying that you own the rights to the photos and are giving us permission to feature them on roadracingworld.com. They may be posted on roadracingworld.com during slow news days.

Seen here in our 20th installment are photos sent in by racer Derrick Whyte, age 30, from Oshawa (near Toronto), Ontario, Canada. The first of two road racing photos “is a picture of my 2011 ZX-10R Kawasaki that I built to race in the CSBK series,” writes Whyte. “This picture was taken at Mosport (Canadian Tire Motorsports Park) in Bowmanville, Ontario by Bill Murphy during the CSBK race.” The second road racing photo “was taken at the last regional round at Shannonville Motorsports Park, also by Bill Murphy. I do have a dirt bike (2004 Suzuki RM250), and a 2004 Kawasaki ZX-10R that I ride on the street. I don’t have any good pictures of either of those; these are all I have. Love the magazine and your dedication to the sport!”
