Robertino Pietri, the son of 1970s and 1980s Superbike racer Roberto Pietri, is racing a Venemotos Yamaha in Formula Xtreme at the VIR AMA National this weekend and will also compete at Road Atlanta next weekend. He was 19th-fastest in Formula Xtreme practice this morning. The young Pietri made his U.S. racing debut with Formula USA at Barber Motorsports Park two weekends ago, with a best finish of fifth. Pietri races a YZF-R1 in Venezuela and has also raced in Italy.
