RideHVMC Reports Ducati Revs Northeast Event At NYST Was A Success

RideHVMC would like to thank all the customers and riders who made the first event at New York Safety Track a success, as well as the participating dealers – Rockwell Cycles, Hudson Valley Motorcycles, Ducati Vermont, and Riverside Motorsports. Furthermore, RideHVMC would like to thank all of our partners for supporting the Ducati Revs Northeast event, including Ducati, Boxed Water Is Better, SignsInk, Arai Helmets, Spidi Leathers, Defy All Odds Apparel, and MJRS Freeman Racing. The event was limited to seventy riders, so everyone could benefit from the world class coaching and instruction available both in the classroom and on the track. Special thanks to all the coaches and instructors who were present to assist and train all the participants, including Jason Pridmore, Richie Alexander, Corey Alexander, and Jason Routhier our Ducati Northeast representative. These instructors provided coaching for all levels of riders, and helped to make the event resonate with the attendees by bringing personal instruction and experience to the track. Many thanks also to the Lubinsky family who own New York Safety Track and operate the facility – we are very fortunate to have a motorcycle friendly track so close by.

Over the course of the two day event, noticeable improvements in riding lines, braking and braking marker choice, throttle control, clutch use, apexing, and body position were seen. Having the opportunity to practice in a safe and controlled environment like New York Safety Track serves to enhance rider confidence and education. Even a bit of rain early on the second day did not dampen spirits – and when the sun came out, all the riders enjoyed a great afternoon on the track, including a track walk with Jason Pridmore and Corey Alexander, which was followed by a body position clinic in the paddock.

RideHVMC organizer Corey Alexander stated “Our first Ducati Revs Northeast event was a great success. We set out to build a new structured event to provide riders in the Northeast the opportunity to come out to a beautiful track to ride, learn, and most importantly enjoy each others company. Motorcycle riding is a blast when you can do it in a safe environment that promotes rider development. When this can be done with a passionate group of riders, it makes it an even better overall experience. I have to give a big thanks to everyone who helped make this event possible as well as the dealers that supported it, and their customers. I am looking forward to seeing even more faces at our next event!”

The next RideHVMC/Ducati Revs event is August 16th and 17th at New York Safety Track. Participating Ducati dealers include Hudson Valley Motorcycles, Rockwell Cycles, Ducati Vermont, Riverside Motorsports, We Are Eurosports, and local service provider European Cycle Services. Please contact a participating dealer or RideHVMC today to reserve your spot for what promises to be another great event! If your local dealer in New York City, Long Island, or Connecticut is not listed as a participating dealer, you are invited to sign up through www.RideHVMC.com directly. Space is limited as before, and we will have a special guest instructor for this event as well. While Ducati is the preferred motorcycle for this event, you do not need to be a Ducati owner to ride at the track with us! Please visit http://www.ridehvmc.com/revs/signup/ or email Corey Alexander via [email protected] for more information regarding the August two-day event and to sign up.
