Kenny Anderson, a highly talented, respected and promising racer, age 12, was injured in a crash during an AFM race weekend at Buttonwillow Raceway Park, Buttonwillow, California this past Sunday. Kenny suffered a head injury and has undergone surgery at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield since his crash, and is showing improvement. There are updates being posted on the Kenny Anderson Fan Page on Facebook. Earlier in the day while battling in and eventually winning one of his races, Kenny set a new lap record for the class which was approximately 1.6 seconds under the old lap record. Spectators were electrified by his performance. The Anderson Family has not requested this, but as their friends, we at Minimoto USA would like to ask you to please pass this around: We have set up a way to donate funds to the Anderson Family as they work through supporting Kenny in his recovery. The purpose of this is to of course assist in alleviating some of the financial burden associated with this incident. You can send Paypal donations to: [email protected]. Cards, letters or other forms of donations can be sent to: Eric Anderson, c/o 5947 Salamea Avenue, Woodland Hills, CA 91367.
