Parriott Eighth In BoxerCup At Spa

Californian Brian Parriott finished eighth in the seventh round of the BMW BoxerCup, at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium Sunday.

The race was won by Andy Hofmann who led a top five covered by 1.5 seconds at the finish line. Parriott charged up through the field and turned the fastest lap of the race at 2:53.884, finishing 2.206 seconds out of first place. Parriott’s Team USA teammate Jason Perez finished 12th, 29 seconds behind the winner.

Parriott is now eighth in series point standings, with two rounds remaining. Perez is 19th in points.
