No More Suomy For Aaron Gobert

Aaron Gobert / Suomy Helmets part ways Suomy USA announces today that Suomy and Aaron Gobert have parted ways, releasing Aaron Gobert from his contract citing contractual conflicts that could not be resolved to each other’s satisfaction. Rick Marlin, President of Suomy USA comments; “We are of course, sad to see Aaron go. In addition to being one of our professional races, we consider him to be a dear friend. We have been proud of our association with Aaron these last few years and proud of how our helmets have served him particularly in his horrific crash at Daytona in 2002 when he hit the high banking wall at a speed in excess of 100 MPH all of us at Suomy USA grew up that day. So it was with great pride that we saw him win the Superstock Championship just 2 years later in Suomy and securing himself the number 1 plate. I am confident of our contribution to his racing success to date, and look forward to Aaron having a have a long and successful racing career. We wish him the very best in the future”. Suomy Helmets currently sponsors Neil Hodgson, 2004 World Superbike Champion on the Austin Ducati 999 and Kurtis Roberts on the Erion Honda in the AMA Superbike Championship and many other champions in MotoGP, World Superbike and various other race organizations worldwide.
