MotoAmerica: RBoM Racing Announces Fifth Twins Cup Entry For VIR

Tyler Freeman, a 24-year-old from Dawsonville, GA, will pull double duty at the MotoAmerica Championship of Virginia on May 4-6, 2018. Tyler will compete in his normal Junior Cup category on a Yamaha YZF-R3 as well as diving into the Twins Cup competition on another RBoM Racing Suzuki SV650.

Perhaps not as well known as some of the other Junior Cup competitors, Tyler Freeman has shown exceptional speed competing in WERA Southeast region club races and has caught the eye of the RBoM Racing crew.

Not to take away from Tyler’s focus on the Junior Cup races, this Twins Cup entry is a ‘no-pressure, go have some fun’ situation. However, the RBoM Racing team principals think that Tyler Freeman may surprise some folks next weekend at VIR and the additional track time on the SV650 will benefit Tyler on his R3 as well.

RBoM Racing would like to thank the MotoAmerica and AMA officials for expediting the process to get Tyler Freeman licensed and registered for round two of Twins Cup. So far that’s five RBoM Racing SV650s plus one RBoM-powered Ghetto Customs SV650 gridding up for VIR. A Twins Cup showdown might be brewing…
