Mladin Quickest, Crashes In AMA Superbike Warm-up At Infineon Raceway

Mat Mladin was the fastest rider in the short, 10-minute AMA Superbike practice session at Infineon Raceway, but the session ended with Mladin lowsiding in the Carousel and heavily damaging his Yoshimura Suzuki GSX-R1000. “I crashed, in the Carousel,” Mladin confirmed to AMA Superbike Media Manager Larry Lawrence. “Ever since I’ve been coming here I always wondered if you could get to that wall out there, and now I know you can’t.” Asked if he would be OK for the race, Mladin said, “I should be alright.
