Martinmoto.com to race Triumph 675 in Formula USA National Roadrace Series with Mike Himmelsbach. Taking a high performance street motorcycle and turning it into a racing contender is not for the everyday motorcycle mechanic and rider. That’s why Martinmoto.com turned to the Himmelsbach family to head up their new racing endeavor. Bill and Mike Himmelsbach are most notable for their development of the Aprilia Mille Superbike here in America and creating not only a contender but the Formula USA Unlimited Grand Prix National Championship winner the first year out. Hoping to repeat the success with another strong platform, Martinmoto.com has elected to turn the new Triumph 675 middleweight Sportbike into the next contender and possible Champion. “We feel that the Triumph will suit Mike’s style of riding. It is small and lightweight, similar to the 250 GP bikes he has ridden in the past. It has a great deal of torque to get a jump off the corners and seems to have some top end. We won’t really know its full potential until we get into the motor later in the season.” Said Bill Himmelsbach The Martinmoto.com team consists of two rider friendly destination dealerships in eastern Pennsylvania. Originally started in 1996, Martin Motorsports has turned a dream into a highly recognized dealership featuring Triumph, Yamaha and Suzuki brand motorcycles. With a staff of true motorcycle enthusiasts the Martin team earned the top 100 dealer award along with the Suzuki Super Service dealer award five years running. Martin Eurosports, newly formed this year, quickly established themselves as a European powerhouse with the honor of Ducati’s National Best New Dealer Gold Award. Martin Eurosports features a full line of Triumph, Ducati and Aprilia brand motorcycles as well as the new Martinmoto.com Race Team. Kevin Vernarr the Martinmoto.com Race team leader is currently negotiating with sponsors as well as searching for additional help. If you are interested in getting involved on the ground floor with the creation of this new middleweight contender then contact Kevin and be part of history.
